Just a poem that popped into my head. Sorry if it's weird D;

This Is Me

This is me
Like it or not
People should see
What I sought

It's not power
It's not gain
I'll never cower
No matter the pain!

Mind full of ambition
Vision full of trust
On a mission
And win I must!

Time to start
Be what I wanna be
Everything's a part
Life is not free

Better work hard
Don't start to slack
Let up a guard
To get my muse back

The passion is there
Needs to be awakened
It's as easy as air
Work before it's taken

This is me
Like it or not
Now you see
This is fought

The last stanza is confusing.

The rest of it reminds of that song with the line, "Will you still love me for the rest of my life?"

It should never be necessary to apologize for a work, by the way. Readers may like a work or not. That is up to them, really. But it is never necessary or desired for a writer to apologize for creating something and offering to share it. ^_~
