Had no plans for the fourth,but the neighbors invited me,my mom,and basiclly all other neighbors surrounding thier house to attend thier cookout in the backyard with members from thier church. Didn't have anything planned so why not, I didn't know the man of the house was a pastor until today and a very good one too(gotta respect a pastor with a drumset). I was surprised I was there for 5hrs instead of 2-3hrs like I figured,it was quite fun and all the neighbors were jamming together. Drummers,guitarists, keyboard players, bongos....who knew I lived in such a talented community.
and in anime news the preview for Mirai Nikki(Future Diary) finally came out,I'm dissappointed to find it's just a pilot oav and not a true adaptation but it does smooth over how much I detest Tokyopop's false advertising(featured below) to make it look like some horror manga when its just a battle royale(granted its quite dark,but it won't give you nightmares or anything).
For those of you not in the know Mirai Nikki is a little known manga who's plot is that the God of Space and Time is dying and with him the world itself,so he decides to die with some entertainment granting 13 people with various future reading abilities via thier cellphones in a battle royale to take his place. Anyone that tries not to participate faces the threat of bieng killed on the spot by him. This series is also known for having the poster girl of yandere Gasai Yuno,and a cast that rivals Deadman Wonderland in bieng screwy in the head.
As for the actual anime trailer...well Deus bieng entirely CG really irks me,and I'm not expecting this anime to do anything but promote the manga honestly. At least I'll see Yuno's crazy ability to weild an envelope opener as if it was a katana.
July 4th could only make me happier if a Fafner~Heaven & Earth trailer came out.
