(3 Months Before)

Hoshi - So how long you here for
Maria - Until my so called parents decide I'm stable enough to be apart of their family
Hoshi - Which will be.......?
Maria - Never....but hey they are paying so its whatever.....
Hoshi - Oh.......well i have a place of my own & i was looking for a roommate so if you wanted.........
Maria - .......Really......your asking me to stay with you?
Hoshi - You dont have to if you dont want to
Maria - NO....no i would love to........i just didnt think you were gonna ask
Hoshi - Well i figure we could keep each other stable so it would be for the best
{The Truth Is I Felt A Strong Connection To Her..........I Couldnt Leave Her Here Alone,
If I Had She May Have Tried Killing Herself That Night, She Smiled At Me,
That Smile Made My World Brighter If Only For A Moment}
Maria - Hey whats with the goofy grin on your face
Hoshi - Nothing, come on get packed my parents called, they dropped off my car its sitting outside
Maria- Alright.........can i ask you something
Hoshi - Sure whats up
Maria - Do you think we could stop by my parents house i need to grab something
Hoshi - Yea, not a problem

{We left the hospital & went straight to her house. As I pulled into the driveway the front door opens
& her mother walks out of the house & stands by the door, she told me to just wait in the car &
that she wouldnt be long, I told her if she needed me I would be right here, she smiled at me...such
a warm smile, something i could never forget, almost as if it was the first time someone said that to her & meant it.
She got out of the car & her mother gave her a hug & whispered something in her ear....not
sure what but later on she told me that her step father would be home soon so she
should grab everything she needs. She came back out with 2 big containers full of clothes
& other stuff, i got out of the car & put everything in the back seat. She hugged her mother
& told hershe loved her & didnt blame her for what she had done, her mother shed a few
tears & held maria tight, kissed her cheeks & told her she was welcome to come back anytime she
wants. Then her mother turned her eyes to me.........}

Maria's Mother - Do you intend to take care of my daughter young man
Hoshi - Yes ma'am
Maria's Mother - 'smiles' Good make sure she stays safe
Hoshi - I will do the best I can
Maria's Mother - I know you will, there's something special about you not sure what but i see it
Hoshi - I'm just being me ma'am
Maria's Mother - Please call me Tanya from now on, calling me ma'am makes me feel old
Maria - We better get going before Mark get home
Tanya - Ok, please call me whenever you get the chance to
Maria - I will....I promise
Tanya - & you too........
Hoshi - Hoshi, Hoshi Grey
Tanya - Well Hoshi Grey take care of each other
Hoshi - 'smiles' I promise i will do my best

{We get in the car & pull out of the drive way & drive off. The rest of the drive was quiet
except for when we both heard a song we knew & started singing it together}

Maria - Hoshi....?
Hoshi - Yea?
Maria - Promise me you wont leave me
Hoshi - 'stops at the light & looks into her eyes' I promise I will never leave you

{Again she smiled at me such a warm & beautiful smile, as if she felt safe, apparently something
she had never felt before. Something brought me to her I'm not sure what maybe fate, but i knew
that i needed to stay by her side....}
