Without You ...

When can I really see you again?
I know it's not today ..
not tomorrow ...
nor the day after ...
Not this week ...
or the next ...

Without you here
I'm alone ...
lurking in the deep forest.
With no one to look up to.

count my breath day by day
to see how long I can last.
swallowed in time
as the surface darkens.
Loneliness over powering....

The sharpened jab stings
a hole was made
apart of me missing ...
not knowing when it'll be back again.

Just sit looking at the stars
till my eyelids feels nothing else
but full weight forcing them to shut
waiting for another day ..
without you ...

a very good poem. Not an intruiging read, i didn't feel like 'oh! must finish this! read it NOW!!'

But good nonetheless. Perhaps you should start thinking about the layout and presentation of your poems. Of course, this is just my opinion. You work how want to work, that's the beauty of poetry. It's all about the emotions of the writer, and how those emotions are potrayed to the reader.
