why do people feel the need to remake something really shoddily, removing the good parts about the old series?

They re-made turtles, and took out a wedge of the humour T_T

I've watched Fear Factor a few times, but it's so repepetitive. Same things each time. I like comedy quiz shows. I was watching 8 out of 10 cats last night, and was literally rofl.
