[Strider Hiryu]

Introduction: It all started here, the day Strider chose his path in life. He started his training to become the best warrior. He weilded the blade of justice and used it for his one true love,Yumiko. If he failed to do somthing, his only choice was to disappear from existance and never show his face again. To live his life in obscurity was the last thing he wanted. Not after he became the Dragoneye knight. It was the Dragoneye Knight's duty to ensure the peace of the land and make sure all evil is under control, failing to do so would be disasterous for all the peoples living in the land. After falling most of the evil that came his way, he finally found a place to live, a place to call home, a place to be with Yumiko.

Home Description: It is a small cottage west of the Dwarve's Forest. It overlooks the land of Shidosa. It is located on the tallest hill in Shidosa and is hidden by trees. There is a pebble covered path leading up to some small steps. Up the steps there is two chairs sitting on a small porchlike structure. You see the front door in front of you, as you enter, a large claymore is mounted above you, it is Strider's sparring sword. You will see a couch and a table in the center of the living area, a single blue rose in the center of the table. A fresh one is stuck in the jar each morning. The rose comes from the Garden of the Elven peoples. to the right of the front door, a few paces away is a door leading into the bed room. Inside that room is a large bed, a single window on the right of the bed with a red curtain over it. A bedside table sits on the left of the bed with a small latern and a daily journal,where Strider keeps his daily activities recorded. The eatery room is located to the left of the front door, basic eatery supplies are located in the room, such as a stove, food storage cupboard, utensils, a dinner table and two chairs and a latern hanging above the table. The room directly in the front of the front door is the bath room, baths and other things are done here. Northeast of the frontdoor is a small room where where Strider's weapons are stored, various swords, armour, and shields. Some of his trophies are here as well, sitting on a large shelf. Outside, behind the house is a small barn, where Strider keeps his faithful steed, Shagnohod. A small room to the right of the barn door's entrance contains Shagnohod's armour and food.

This is the basic layout of Strider's Haven.

What Ho, Sir Knight of the Dragoneye. Forgive my sudden appearance into your place of comfort, but my drgon, who be named Shoden, and I were passing by on errand and chanced to see your goodly home.

I am known as frank. Mage be I and Warlock, too. But one who the path of White does follow and only good things in this and other worlds.

Shoden is content to remain outside. For , in truth, his bulk is such that his comfort would not be maintained inside, save in our mountain.

Be we welcome? frank bows in deference to a Knight's position, but one of equal status. Throws back his cape to show no weapons need be feared, and extends an arm in goodly greeting.

[Strider Hiryu]

"It's fine, you are welcome here in my humble adobe."

-He looks at the man and makes a welcoming gesture. Then looks at the clouds, covering his eyes with his right arm, to protect his eyes from the sun.-

"The clouds be ominous today. Looks like it will pour soon."

-He opens the door for the guest to enter-

[frank]

*frank also looks at the ominous, impending storm. But, as is his wont, he is fain to advise Sir Dragoneye that his powers could cause storm to cease, unless....*

My thanks, Sir Dragoneye. It is my pleasure to be welcomed into your Home. Mine own Dragon, Shoden, himself can tend to nicely as is his way, and need not fear the elements, being of the elements, themselves, born many ages ago.

*frank does note, however, that Sir Dragoneye did not return nor clasp his out-stretched arm in Knightly greeting*

*frank enters and is quite pleased by what he sees: in truth a well -appointed Home, worthy of a victorious and a valiant knight.*

[Kawaii Shuichi]

*Yumiko had been sitting on the couch with a large art pad on her lap and was drawing. She turned setting the pad down and smiled welcoming the guest*

"Welcome to our home. Would you like anything to drink?"

[Strider Hiryu]

-Strider falls over when he sees Yumiko sitting there. He scrambles to stand again.-

Hehehe, um I slipped. So anyone hungry or thirsty?

[frank]

Sir Knight, if I may be so bold? Woulds't introduce me to your lady that I may greet her well? In truth a lovely lady do I see and fain would I offend.

If 'tis no bother, a hook for cape and magic sword.
A bench to rest my traveler's legs, and aye a drink,

A brandy would be good. But what you have will serve me well, I'm sure. I do not wish to be a bother or intercede when mayhaps I should be on my way?

*it does not escape frank's attention that Yumiko's presence was not known by Sir Strider, and that he fell from surprise of seeing her on the couch.*

*frank is still uncomfortable that Sir Strider has not returned the knightly grip of hand to forearm by which a comrade may be known.*

[Kawaii Shuichi]

*Yumiko smiles at her husband trying not to laugh*

'I really should make my presence known to him when coming in from the out doors more before I give him a heart attack. He's young though, and I really love seeing that face he makes. ^^' *Yumiko thinks to herself*

*She turns to the guest while standing up and bows her head in respect smiling*

[Strider Hiryu]

-He gestures towards a hook made of antlers of a deer.-

Tis a place to rest your sword and cape and sit where you wish. This is Yumiko, my wife. Rawr. Sorry I had to rawr.

-He holds his hand out to the stranger.-

Psst..Yumiko..where's the brandy?

[Kayla]

*knocks on the door while thinking*

~what the hell am i going to do? it's not natrual for a human to have powers~

*knocks again*

[frank]

*frank, with a most most courtly bow as though to queenly presence, offers a long, low, deep bow and rising, takes the lady's hand*

The angels sang when I approached, and all my woodland folk did rhyme a chime to let me know this day, indeed be filled with fortuitous events. They were proved right, my Lady, they were proved right.

*and gently, in the manner of the time, places a soft kiss upon the back of the Lady Yumiko's hand.

*to Strider* Thanks again toi you, Sir Knight, for proper greeting given. I will, indeed, hook my cape and my sword, and seated on yon bench rest a while.

[Strider Hiryu]

-Strider sits across from the stranger and awaits for something to be discussed-

Yumi, is there any brandy left?

[Kawaii Shuichi]

*Yumiko smiles at Strider laughing a little*

You men and your brandy. Yes there is. I'll retrieve the bottle.

*She leaves bowing her head in respect to the two men*

[Haruko_san]

Saki: *I stumble through the Dwarve's Forest... bleeding and badly injured... as I reach a clearing I see a small cottage... I groan as I make my way toward the house and colapse on the front stoop... I reach my arm out as far as I can and weakly tap on the front door of the cottage...*

[frank]

*frank hears the tapping, knows something rievous has transpired. Shoden has sent a warning dire to be on guard with weapons at the ready!*

frank jumps up, grabs his cape and sword, quickly buckles both, and calls to Strider*

Sir Knight, at your door! Quickly I pray you, there is a matter which must be set aright and a damsel in distress.

[Strider Hiryu]

-Strider grabs a large sword and hooks it to his back and looks at the door ready for anything-

Whatever it is, we must deal with it, We can't lower our guard or it could prove fatal. Yumi, hold down the fort please.

-He hugs her and kisses her forehead-

[Kawaii Shuichi]

*Yumiko looks at him and cocks an eyebrow*

You know I'm not THAT useless. *She looks over at her own sword in the corner*

But there isn't any time to argue at this point. Go.

*smirks at him*

[Strider Hiryu]

Okay. Um make sure you hold down the fort. o_O Help the lady out here while we go fight the badguy!

-Run outside quickly and slides down the hill on a log-

[frank]

*frank runs after Strider and, of a sudden stops. WTF? EM? From where have you arrived, and what would you here?

Goes to Haruko at the step, lifts her up, kicks open the door, and calls to Yumiko* My lady, here be one of grievous hurt, and another who came unannounced. Woulds't care for the one, I pray thee, and inquire of the other her suspicious arrival at such a time?

I must accompany Sir Knight of the Dragoneye, tht he not be alone against whatever forces challenge.

*to Shoden* Come my friend, let us off to avert whatever danger our new friend is apt to find. *Shoden lifts him up, and they go off, after Sir Strider's log. frank is thinking, strange manner of transport, that! When Shoden could have easy taken both!

[Lady Battousai]

*is running from the monster that has been terrorizing the forest,she stops suddenly noticing all the blood she has lost and leans on a tree giving up*i guess this is it....im gonna die by a monster....*closes her eyes leaving herself totaly open to anything*.......

[Haruko_san]

Saki: *Back at Strider's Cottage... I scream... and sit straight up I look at Yumi...*
I must go my village is in danger... I need to help in whatever way I can...
*I look down at the bandages around my right leg, and my left arm... I smile weakly*
At least I still have my good arm... Thank you for your care
*I begin to limp toward the door...*

[frank]

*frank, atop Shoden, sees the dreadful, hooked claw, monster fanged creature, that smells like it came from the depths of Hell's own swamps. Also sees Lady B. slump against the tree, with wounds but not life-threatening. To Shoden*

Shoden, send that monster back to its fiery Hell as dust and ashes. *Shoden unleasheas a horrendous, dragon-bolt of blue flame with a tornadic wind. The Monster is completely incinerated, its ashes gone to Hell.

Shoden lifts up Lady B., and frank holding her in his arms as he would a precious child, tells Shoden,* To our mountain, now. The only place I know where we may care for Lady B., tend to her wounds, and see her safe. With her safe, I will return to find out more of what is teribly amiss in this dreadful place.

[Kawaii Shuichi]

*Yumiko gets up quickly blocking Saki's way*

"You are too weak to be leaving. My husband and a new friend of ours is out there right now. Everything will be okay. Come."

*Takes her gently back to the couch*

"Will you tell me what you know about what is going on?"

[Lady Battousai]

*opens her eyes and notices that she is in the air*did i die?..

[Haruko_san]

Saki: There was a terrible monster in the forest... he was on a rampage... I tried to stop him outside my village but I fear that he has left everything in ruins...
*I frown*

[Strider Hiryu]

I guess that is over...I had no fun...is there anything else to be done?

-Strider sits on a fallen tree and looks at the trees above, lightly shifting in the spring wind. He gazes at the horizon and see another horde of dark clouds coming his way. He sighs and walks toward his home.-

[ReiRei]

*Rei stumbles her way through the forest and falls just near the edge of the woods. She tries to call for help but it fails*

I have to heal, but I can't...I'm too weak *blacks out and prays for a death or for someone to help her*

[Strider Hiryu]

-Strider sees a figure laying on the ground a few paces ahead of him. He kneels beside the figure and pokes them and realizes they were still alive. He picks them up and carries them toward his home.-

Stay with me now, don't die on me.

[ReiRei]

*moans softly letting the person know she's still fighting to hold on*

*in a whisper* I'm sorry to be so much trouble *blacks out again*

[Strider Hiryu]

-He finally reaches the stoop of his home and rushes through the door, laying the person down on a cot. He dampens some rags and puts them on the person he rescued and makes some healing medicine from herbs her gathered in the forest.-

Whew...it has been a busy day today.

[Lady Battousai]

*looks up at frank*where are we going?

[ReiRei]

*shivers a bit and opens her eyes and looks around*

what happened? where am I? *doesn't try to sit up seeing how it hurt to move, and looks up toward the person* what happened?

[Kayla]

*blurs around the room then stops infront of Rei*

what happened to her?

[Strider Hiryu]

She was atacked by a monster. I happened to come along and find her. I saved her in other words.

-He checked the rags and administered some herbs to the stranger laying before him. He started chanting softly and the herbs reacted to his chant and glowed and green and faded into her body.-

She will be healed by these herbs, she still needs to rest though.
