well i have the manga i have the book and have read all that i have so far
i know this is a popullar series in japan (well actually more like a cult fav. from reading the back side of the book)
well any way i always hear people talking about a movie i was just wondering if any one on this site has ever seen it
me and my friend once looked it up on ebay and it was going for 12 dollars
if any one has seen this is it worth getting?

It is very worth seeing. The movie is aswome. Actually there are 2. The second isn't as good but I still liked it. It is very violent. Which adds to the goodness. I don't know if the manga and book are the same as the movie or the anime, but stay away from the anime it sucked. So to sum it up. BUY IT NOW.

alright thanks for the reply i didnt know there was 2 movies thats pretty cool and an anime, wow well ill be sure to pick the movie up some time and try and avoid the anime.

The movie is excellent.

Period, it is suca ggreat film and its an nstant cult classic so it complimentss the mangas excellentlly.

If you watch the movie first, it conotates some really horrific scenes and ideas, its quite scary, the thoght of the massacare.

The themes dsplayed are very powerful and movving but they're is also alot of 'teen slasher' moments in it, which is good, as it gives the viewer a break from some of the long winded rants about the importance of life.

Watch it...then watch Battle Royale II

The second isn't so bad, it does add another element being "co-operate or both your heads blow up" as for the first... a master piece. Putting some unrealistic death scenes aside it's an amazing movie. One worth getting. I feel like watching it now, but i don't have it, it was on T.V here a few times before.

i found a site with the dvd for 10.00 dollars and im really thinking about getting it
that site also had the second movie and that was also ten so maybe ill get them both at the same time
