Best vampire anime?

Which vampires-based anime do you like the most? My vote is of course for Vampire Hunter D ^.^ I don't know much vampire anime so if you have something else in mind, share it with us :roll:

I've only watched helsing and blood: the last vampire. But i prefer helsing way better than the latter. That one was a real boring one.

I voted Vampire Hunter D. Bloodlust.
And even though Alucard of Hellsing is really badass, the anime is greatly overrated. So I didn't vote Hellsing.

I liked vhd, but i preferred blood the last vamp just because it was my first anime, and the ending was pretty cool. I like their styles as well, like kai doh maru you have to pay attention in the sory to know what's happening. Too many people dying at once...

i'm a hellsing fan. i strongly disliked blood: the last vampire, though the art style was beautiful. it had so much potential.

@Montreal, have you seen Blood+? a lot of people misleadingly think that it's a sequel of the movie, just because it has Saya (and even David-san i think). Blood the Last Vampire is more like a piece of the story and it's not even necessary to watch it in advance. I would strongly recommend Blood+, even if you didn't like Blood the Last Vampire. Only saying that because many people say they don't feel like watching the series because they didn't like the movie, and it really doesn't have anything to do with each other, completely different.

I'm really enjoying Blood+ for the most part. Seeing Okinawa in the show made me realize how much I loved that place. I'm not real happy that they made the U.S. military the bad guys - it would have been much more plausible to use a shadowy quasi-government agency or military contractor. And I wish the animators had watched some videos of pistols and shotguns actually being fired before they did the animation. But the artwork, story and characters are great.

Voted helsing... althought I really like Blood + and some other animes regarding vampires... like Rosario + vampire (XD) Vampire princess miyu was okay... though I don't really feel like watching Vampire knight at all...

i liked Vampire Knight a lot, but i kinda consider it to be more in the school/romance category, rather than vampire >.> i know it has both, but i just can't put it on the same line as the other ones mentioned :?

anime for me would be vampire knight and vampire knight guilty..
