Hidden Base

[Erk Mizuhara]

Erk's hideout. Hidden in a cave, stretching largely through the rock, larger than a mansion. Only a few of Erk's closest friends are told of it's location and welcomed with open arms. (Rena, EM, Shuichi, SE, Zelda). There are many small passages, most of which Erk never explores these days. Only the middle, leftmost and rightmost ones are used. The middle passage leads to the lounge area, the leftmost passage leads to Erk's bedroom, and the right most leads to a kitchen, with a bathroom further on.
Erk only explores the other passages to get rid of any unfriendly life that may have decided to live there.
The cave is very hygienic considering it is just a cave, and is always warm and comfortable.
If anyone but the afore-mentioned people attempt to enter, then Erk will be cautious about them, then decide if he trusts them or not.

*smiles at Hikari* she missed you, Rosalie.

*takes her in her arms and holds her in her lap* were you a good girl for daddy Erk?

She was fine. Kept trying to do a runner sometimes, but she behaved otherwise.

*watches Hikari* she's beautiful

*smiles, and nods* yeah, she is.

*holds Hikari in her lap, the resemblence to her is uncanny, she looks up at Erk and gives him a soft smile*

o-okay... *walks towards the kitchen-like area.* if only i could afford a house...

*looking at her and sighs*

*walks in down the front*

wow... so this is Erk's place?... shiesh why did he never tell me?

*shouts from kitchen* the word 'Hidden' mean anything to you, Mac?

*smirks, finding his way around*

means something to me *blurr infront of Hiro*

*a cup smashes* it means it's supposed to be away from nosy little gits like you!!

i'll get out of ur way then *looks hurt and blurrs away*

no! *runs out of the kitchen* i meant Mac! I-I-I-I-I ****!!! *punches the wall* ow... *holds his hand in pain*

*blurrs back feeling his pain* oh, r u alright? *holds his hand* here *heals it* but i'll leave no since i'm not wanted

*grabs her arm* of course i want you here! i just didn't want Mac here... I'm sorry...

*throws her arms around him* oh, when i thought u didn't want me here it hurt som much then i thought it was going to Erk!!!

*hugs her back* you're always welcome here, Em. I'll always welcome you with open arms.

come *pulls his hand* to the bar!!

*goes behind the bar and pours a drink for Erk and herself*

*smiles, and takes the drink*

*drinks it* i feel great

*eyes narrow a bit* c'mon Hikari... we're going home sweet pea....

Hikari: *looks at Erk and Em, whispers in Erk's direction* Baka...

*disappears*

*looks after Rena, then sighs* it wouldn't have worked any way...

[Kayla]

something wrong dear? *looks concerned*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*looks away from the door* it's... nothing. *smiles weakly* don't worry about it.

[Kayla]

alright ^^ what would u like to do? *hooks her arm in his*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*sighs* oh, i dunno... whatever, really. *has a bit of a twinkle in his eye*

[Kayla]

let's go walking *smiles sweetly at him*

[Erk Mizuhara]

okay. *smiles back, and leads her out of his home*

[Kayla]

*let's him usher her out* this is nice ^^

[Erk Mizuhara]

*walks her round the back of the base, where they can see a lake not very far away*

[Kayla]

*looks happy and holds Erk's hand*

D'you want to go to the lake?

[Kayla]

yeah.. it looks goegeous ^^

yeah. But nothing compared to you. *starts walking towards the lake*

[Kayla]

*blushes and smiles while walking with him*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*as they approach the lake, they see fish jumping in and out of the water, and flowers floating on the surface*

[Kayla]

wow.... *is speechless*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*sits EM down on one of the large rocks nearby, then goes to the water's edge and scoops a flower into his hand.* me and Em.... *walks back to EM, and hands her the flower* for you.

[Kayla]

*weaves the flower into her hair* thank u, it's beautiful

it enhances your beauty even more, which i wouldn't have though possible *neatens her hair a little more*

[Kayla]

*smiles and snuggles into Erk* let's stay here for a while* falls into a light sleep*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*lets her sleep, and strokes her hair, speaking softly* i can spend hours here... days if i really wanted. It's such a tranquil place... *smiles down at EM, who looks even more adorable when she's asleep*

*wakes up and kisses Erk*

*is surprised at the suddenness of her kiss, but calms down and kisses her back*

what should we do? it's too quiet... i hate silence

[Rena Rose]

*the sound of pacing foot steps is heard from inside the base, a hooded figure is standing there, awaiting their return*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*smiles at EM* i like the silence. We can head back if you want.

[Rena Rose]

*still paces, finally sits down, her eyes narrowed*

[Kayla]

*is aware of her being there* who's that *points to the hooded figure*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*stares at the hooded figure* i dunno... *puts a protective arm around EM*

[Kayla]

*feels ujncomfortable with the hooded figure near them* who r u?

[Rena Rose]

so you don't remember me... my prince... *her voice is sad, yet familiar, an engagement Ring and wedding band gleam in the light, one too familar for Erk, she looks up at him, her bright jade green eyes are tearful* it was hard enough coming here to find you with some one else... but it's worse to know you don't remember.... *strands of pink hair show, her name is Yumechi Rosalie Heart(the real Rosalie)* t-the counsil calls *she disappears in sparks of blue stars, appearing outside, tears are flowing down her cheeks as she slides down the wall, holding herself*

[Kayla]

Erk.... what is she talking about *stands up looking at him*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*is staring over the lake, face going white* it's.... her...

[Rena Rose]

*stands and bites her bottom lip, still outside*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*holds his head in his hands* i can... only just remember.... *squeezes his eyes shut* where... do i recognise her?

[Rena Rose]

*sits at the lake, her eyes closed she lays down on the grass, sings a song she sung a long time ago * fallen whispers dead as snow heart is breaking broken glass... i whisper to you... yet there's not an answer i watched you dream yet you called not to me then i turned away and you called my name and now i see... it me in your dream....

[Erk Mizuhara]

*hears the song, and a shudder runs down his spine. It sounds so...familiar*

[Rena Rose]

he wore black and i wore white- he would always win the fight bang bang he shot me down bang bang i hit the ground bang bang that awful sound bang bang my baby shot me down.... *sighs*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*trying to remember.... everything. He doesn't remember a thing about Yumechi*

[Rena Rose]

*plays with the water* baby.... you looked at me you killed me with that look of love i drowned in you... there's nothing i could do- my heart is dead and there's no sound i'm falling in the room of lust it's all your fault

[Erk Mizuhara]

*walks up behind her, then sits next to her* you...okay?

[Rena Rose]

*sits up and looks at him* i'm ok... *turns away wiping her eyes*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*doesn't move. Doesn't dare do anything with EM so close by* have you been crying? did i upset you?

[Rena Rose]

no... you didn't... *starts to get up*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*doesn't move, just stares at the lake. Picks up a rock, and skips it along the water. It skips twice, then falls in the water*

[Rena Rose]

*sighs and turns, about to leave*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*doesn't move to stop her, still trying to sort his mind out*

[Rena Rose]

Rosalie: *her voice whispers in his mind* who do you love.... is it me... or is it Em i won't force you to decide

*starts walking away*

[Erk Mizuhara]

I love both of you the same. But... at the same time i can't love either of you.

[Rena Rose]

*has gone completely*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*sighs* well, another one gone. Oh well...

[Kayla]

Erk... *is crying but smiling at he same time* u two deserve each other and i won't deny u of her so.... *kisses his cheek softly* i will leave

[Erk Mizuhara]

*grabs her wrist* i don't want you to go, Em. I want you to stay. I... need to talk.

[Kayla]

it'll only make things worse, she wants u so she can have u... it's not my place to fight her

I don't want a fight.... i just need to talk to someone.... any one....

*let's go of her wrist* will you... sit here with me? For a little bit?

*smiles* i... i'm lost, Em. I dunno what to do any more...

*puts her hand over his heart* what do u feel here?

[Erk Mizuhara]

*stares at her hand, then sighs* i wish i knew. I can't tell any more....

[Kayla]

knew what?

[Erk Mizuhara]

*looks at her* you asked me what i feel in my heart... i answered that i don't know... and i wish i did....

oh... *hugs him* u'll find out

[Erk Mizuhara]

*smiles and returns the hug* i hope so...

[Rena Rose]

*watching them from afar.. sighs deeply*

Kouji: dad...? *looks at them*

[Kayla]

*hugs Erk and kisses him softly* dearest u must choose

[Rena Rose]

*stares, looking down*

Kouji: *staring at them, then turns to see his mom* mom... oh no

[Kayla]

*starts kissing him over and over again*

[Rena Rose]

*stares, tears falling from her eyes, they run ramped as she stares*

[Kayla]

*whispers in his ear* i love u... no matter who u choose *and keeps on kissing him*

[Rena Rose]

*turns away, tears hitting the ground, each tear that falls a flower sprouts and blooms, she takes off her shoes and cloak, staring* Kouji go... *she walks further away her sword unsheathed* I hope... you'll be happy with her... *she twirls the sword and plunges it into her chest, she drops to her knees, blood soaking the grass* Erk.... I...love... you*she twists the sword causing it the puncture more, she can't keep the pain from coming out, she screams in pain and her eyes close and she just lays there. the blood puddles on the ground, and makes it's way towards them, dripping into the lake's water- making it blood red*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*His eyes are dark. It is obvious that he has no more emotion left within him. He cannot even cry over Yumechi's suicide, which he felt deep within his mind. He turns to face Em.* I've... made my choice.

[Kayla]

and what is it? it doesn't matter to me.... i just need to know.. *grabs his hands and squezzes it*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*a tear falls from his eye, and he stares at EM, looking pained* i... neither... i can't choose either of you.

[Kayla]

*tears fall freely down her face and she kisses him softly on his cheek* that is fine..... it was ur choice

[Erk Mizuhara]

if i... choose one, the other will probably get jealous. If i choose one, she'll either get hurt, or end up hurting me. I don't want that any more. I especially don't want you getting hurt, Em.

[Rena Rose]

Kouji: *holding his mouth in his arms, pats her face* Mom... mom don't leave me please!

*coughs, the wound gone* why... why can't i die.... why won't you let me die *she screams to the clouds*

Kouji: because you still have a duty to your self mother....

My only duty was to find him again... and and now i can't even be with him... like we used to be.... *trying not to cry, she leans her head on Kouji's chest*

Kouji: Mom... don't you think... maybe maybe you should try some one else... Maybe mac....?

*blinks at what he just said* Mac... with what i've done to him i doubt he'll have me... or let alone want me.... I'm meant to be alone Kouji... all alone...

[Kayla]

*whispers into Erk's ear* never forget

[Rena Rose]

Kouji: You aren't alone- you have your family- you have me and Hikari... you've got Hiroshi.... Mac and Erk love you but... you have to choose mom you can't live like this hurting your self all the time

[Erk Mizuhara]

*grabs Em and kisses her passionately on the lips* I'll never forget you. I wish i could be with you, Em. But i have too many powerful enemies. I can't endanger your life. Do you understand?

*tears r still streaming down her face* yes... i think so, but it's not like i'm helpless

[Erk Mizuhara]

i know that EM, belive me, i do.... but these enemies are too powerful even for me. I've been lucky so far.

[Kayla]

*hugs him tightly* but i don't want to leave u

[Erk Mizuhara]

*hugs her back* i know, Em. And i don't want to leave you, but for your safety... please, Em.

alright *blurs away*

*sighs, and stares across the lake* I'm... destined to be alone, i guess. *throws a rock*

*blurs back looking very pale* i think i met one of ur enemies *drops on the ground someone standing behind her*

[Rena Rose]

Kouji: *looks over* Even though he's my father... he's not worth the pain he puts you through.... i hope he suffers

*looks up at him* Kouji stop that you can't wish that on anyone.... it'll come back to you... trust me it will... Em Is my sister *she gives him a sad smile*

Kouji: and your sister does this to you... Mom you need more loyal siblings

Kouji you can't control people as much as you want to... you know i didn't control you when it was your descision to leave....

Kouji: Mom.... I shouldn't have left... look at all the pain you've gone through.... it's gotten worse *picks her up as he stands* i'm taking you out of here...

*sighs, closing her eyes* alright Kouji... what ever you wish...

[Kayla]

*blurs out quickly next to her sister* it is over...

[Rena Rose]

*looks up at her*

Kouji: *gives her a sneer and looks down at his mother*

Put me down Kouji.... my Fayth powers will stand me up...

Kouji: *sighs and puts her down* mom let's go... please... I don't want to be near him anymore

*looks at him* but...

Kouji: before i assassinate him mom... please!

*surprised watching a tear fall from Kouji's eyes* ok... Kouji... *follows after kouji*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*sighs heavily* if only Matthias were here... he'd know which path I should take... I wish I could be with them... I don't know who to choose any more... *cries*

[Rena Rose]

Kouji: Mom... *hugs her tight* talk to mac... he'll understand.... ok

*surprised, then nods* ok Kouji... I will *the two disappear*

[Kayla]

*walks around aimlessly not knowing where to go from here*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*sheds his weapons on the floor: a Beretta M1934 (gun), a Persuader (gun), four daggers, a sword and a gunblade* not even these can protect my loved ones...

[Rena Rose]

*comes back. wraps her arms around Em, hugging her tight* i'm sorry.... I'm sorry I was fighting with you because of a guy... it's so very unlike me. Please forgive me

[Erk Mizuhara]

no-one... in my whole life... ever. I guess it's fate. But, for their safety, it must be this way... *cuddles himself, wishing it was Em or Yumechi cuddling him instead. Mutters his "carry on" song. ((npog - see poetry section))*

*blurs next to him holding his arms* don't be so sad dearest

[Rena Rose]

*hears him and sighs, moves towards him cautiously, she wraps her arms around him from behind*

[Erk Mizuhara]

*blushes, but says nothing*

[Rena Rose]

i'm always here for you... no matter what Erk... no matter what... *kisses his cheek*

[Rena Rose]

*nuzzles into his neck* you don't have to say anything to me Erk... *kisses his cheek, then slowly pulls away from him*

*looks at her, his throat closed, but smiles to show that he's glad she still accepts him*

*hugs him tight again, before sitting down*

*rests his head on her shoulder, his mouth still won't speak*

*looks at him* are you ok...?

[Erk Mizuhara]

*sighs deeply, and snuggles into her.*

*plays with his hair gently*

*really wants to say how much she means to him, but his throat is dry and closed. No words can leave his mouth*

*looks at him and blushed before kissing his forehead*

*smiles, really wanting to talk, but can't. starts to fall to sleep*

[Rena Rose]

*running a hand threw her own hair, sets his head on her lap so he can be more comfortable*

*smiles, and relaxes, then drifts off to sleep*

*looks down at him and smiles, leans in and kisses his cheek as he is now asleep*

*sleeps peacefully, then mutters:* L-Lulei...

[Rena Rose]

*didn't hear him, she closes her own eyes and falls asleep*

*sighs in his sleep* Matthias.... don't disappear...

[Rena Rose]

*looks up at the sky, humming*

[Erk Mizuhara]

m-matthias... no... NO!!! *wakes up*

[Rena Rose]

*looks up at him* huh... what happened?

[Erk Mizuhara]

*looks around* i... phew... it was a dream... dammit... why did he disappear?

[Rena Rose]

*sighs* are you ok....?

[Erk Mizuhara]

uh... y-yeah, i think. I'm just thinking about Matthias again...

oh *smiles softly at him* so now you can talk huh?

[Erk Mizuhara]

i...i guess.... *still thinking about Matthias.* he... Faded...

*sighs looking up at him*

*blurs away*

*looks at Yumechi* sorry. I shouldn't burden you with my problems... *looks away*

*surprised* Erk... *sighs deeply and looks down at her hands* do you not trust me... to handle it...?

it's not that... it's just that ... this is my personal crisis... you shouldn't be involved.

*looks at the floor then at him* ok then... Erk... have it your way... *stands up*

*hugs himself. Mutters:* Matthias, my love... why did you have to Fade when i needed you the most? Why? *tears fall down his face*

*sighs deeply, puts a hand on erk's head, patting it before turning away and starting to walk off*

*hugs himself tighter, he's inexplicably insecure now* everyone's gone... but i can't have anyone... Nino... Mihako... EM, Yumechi... Matthias... everyone....

[Rena Rose]

*walks off*

*lays down and cries*

*bites the inside of her mouth wanting to go back, but knowing she had a duty to her child to stay away from him, she runs off*

get up Erk, i'm staying *stands infront of him* whether u like it or not

*slowly sits up.* i... i do want you to stay, Em. But if one of my enemies comes here...

it doesn't matter if they come, they come, i'm staying *smiles at him*

*wakes up, and looks around* X ... so she's alive... *walks towards where he senses her energy*

X: *smirks, her blue streaked black hair in her eyes, she's still in the shadows*

X: *waits for him*

*opens her newly improved wing and flies to see X*

*sits behind a tree nearby*

*leaves as she spots Erk*.

X: there is no such relationship- he is only the father of Kouji... Kouji is the one I have a real relationship with... *a blush crosses her face at the thought of Kouji* Well truth is I don't know if Kouji likes me the way i like him or not.... I'm only here to check on his father- as he asked me too

*takes out her finger blades*

X: *eye narrow* you know... i'm younger then you- if you attack me- you can get jail time *gives her an innocent smile*

*sits, listening to the conversation* Kouji sent her... so, he still doesn't trust me... can't say i blame him.

EM! Don't take those out!

i don't have a good feeling about her, and she won't touch Erk if her life depended on it

*shoots X an evil glare*

*sighs deeply, then stands up and approaches* It's okay, Em. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. *turns to Iana* you came to check on me? What for?

*keeps her stance but backs off a bit*

X: Kouji sent me to make sure you were alright... Sir *gives him a soft smile. cocking her head to the side ever so slightly*

Kouji: *behind Em* leave her alone- she's with me... *goes over and wraps his arms around X tightly, nuzzling her neck*
