Who I Am
I ask this question all the time,
but still can't find the answer.
I don't like unanswered questions,
which is why I want to know.
I've been so many different people.
Erk, Nino, Moggy16 and Sealink
to name but a few of me.
Each is a different personality.
Each is another attempt
to find out which one is me,
or which I prefer to be.
I've tried arrogant, friendly,
quiet, cold, withdrawn and kind.
But none of these come close,
to who Daniel really is.
I have a vague idea about it,
I'm quiet, sometimes friendly,
and i try hard to understand.
But who I really am, my true self?
Everyone seems to know, but me.
I won't ask others for help.
Not directly, at any rate.
For being with friends and fmaily,
helps me anyway, their mere presence.
I need to know the answer,
I have to work it out.
Some day I will know myself.
I await it with eagerness.
Dedicated to my chatroom and forum friends. Thank you for helping me find myself. I may know soon.
