Has anyone seen these? I got instantly sucked in when I watched them! How epic were they lol And in my opinion, a great horror/mindf*** series for sure >.> Any thoughts?

I've watched em all,specials included. Good series it is,Only complaints is Rei deprived me of seeing Oyashiro-sama's true form(why would I want an EYE CLOSE-UP at a time like this!?),and that the anime as a whole spent too little time on the Bernkastel thing,only mentioning her name.

At the time I recall the final scene with her made no sense at all and confused me to no end,till i read the mangas and started the Umineko novels and it went into detail on her and Kakera.

One thing I loved is that if you rewatch season 1 with season 2 knowledge,all that ""I hear footsteps!!!" "Someone keeps whispering to me at night!!" craziness makes absolute sense,even the bit on poison gas.

I KNOW! I wanted to see too :[ I want to rewatch the series and I want to read the manga as well. Definitely well written enough to get into over and over haha It's been a while since I've seen it so I think now is a good time for a refresher :] It's so funny to see all the things come together in the end :] Hopefully I will get to it soon so I can talk more about it :]

The only thing i could never figure out was which twin was on screen,they were were always impersonating each other,and either way your technically not wrong due to thier "let's switch names for good" trick back when they were little XD

I saw those recently: great horror. I must say I like that series over its successor umineko no naku koro ni. The first season of higurashi was more intense than the second I felt. I also liked the mystery more. Overall it was a great ride from beginning to end.
