1. Zettai Shounen (a hidden gem among slice-of-life series)
2. Twin Spica (another one from the creators of Zettai Shounen)
3. Ayatsuri Sakon (a great detective series)
4. Bartender (another great slice-of-life anime that is not widely known)
5. Heat Guy J (one of my absolute favorites. almost none of my friends watched it, no idea why)

1.Rahxephon(forever falsely accused of bieng an "Eva ripoff",like all others of the genre)
2.0080 War in the Pocket(a gundam not about the mechs,but normal colony dwellers)
3.Fafner in the Azure/Right of Left(why is this even compared to Evangelion?)
4.Starship Operators(now this is how real space battles would be fought,focusing on the mechanics of it all)
5.Shion no Ou~Flowers of Hard blood(Honestly,I can't believe it's not licensed after all these years)
