Introduction (optional):

I love gender-bender manga, so that was the reason why I started reading this. And, after all that I have read, I can consider this the best gender-bender manga out there.

Plot and Setting/Story: 9/10

Year 2100 A.D., China.
Feng Lang's twin brother taunts her, claiming that when she plays MMORPG's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_role-playing_game), she always depends on guys to help her. Completely angered, Feng vows to beat him in the new virtual reality game "Second Life", to show him that girls don't need to depend on men to win. That’s how she logs in and makes a really strange request: “I want to be a guy!”. Now “Prince”, the transgender hot blood elf, will have to deal with tons of enemies and fan girls, while he finds new friends and tries to become the most powerful player.
But what will happen when the people Feng loved and hated in the video game as a man start showing up in real life?

My only complaint is that the plot progression is really slow. But apart from that, each chapter is simply hilarious: I can’t stop laughing every time I re-read them. Later, the plot starts to have a more serious tone, but it never loses its insanely funny style.

Characters/Character Development: 8/10

One of the good things about the characters is that they have a double personality between reality and a video game. Feng Lang is a cute and lazy Chinese girl, while in the video game she is a male hottie with an insatiable blood-thirst. Also, the co-protagonist, Gui, a silly gay demon in love with Prince, is not that dumb in real life.
In a way this reflects something that happens to all of us internet users; how sometimes it is easier to show our true selves in a virtual world, or how freely we can lie about ourselves in the same way.

Art: 8/10

The art improves very much through each chapter. The designs aren’t masterpieces, but the artist knows very well how to make a scene hilarious, as well as how to draw a bloody battle.

Additional Comments or Warnings (optional):

I never heard of someone who didn’t like this manga yet (though there are always exceptions), so it is highly recommended. From the beginning chapters, you will laugh nonstop. So, if you like comedy, this is for you.

Overall Manga Rating: 8.5/10
