Should the world end

I sit here at my window
staring out across the vast
blue sea...and I wonder...
Should the world end...what
would I have lived for...what would
I have accomplished in life...
Should the world end what will
I lose...what would I gain
Should the world end...will I
in those last few seconds finaly
see just what it was all worth
So many questions I have to ask
...but I won't be able to...i'll never know
what it was all for...I lived for the moment
I lived my life as best I could...But I won't miss it
I won't regret it...any of it...even...Should the world end...
