Alexander Is the MOVIE OF THE DECADE!!!!! This movie was the best I have ever seen in my life. The storyline was the best in it's category and all of the dialogue more than made up for the lack of battles within the movie. Instead of being like all of the other action historic movies with nothing but blood and gore, Alexander focuses more on the time period and how life was like for them. People say they didn't like the gay themes in the movie, But I feel it brings out the period in which this movie is set. It was normal for them in that age, and it is interesting to watch on the screen. The nudity was tasteful and not offensive in anyway. The WHOLE MOVIE WAS JUST AWESOME! I've seen it 4 times, and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

Finally! Someone who appreciates this movie as much as me. It was so awesome. The dialogue was so fun and definately not boring at all! The lack of action was something new and I liked it. I mean, who doesn't want to watch 3 hours of dilagoue? The nudity was awesome and it was all I could do not to whack off in the theatre. Insane...

i hate to be the one to disagree but i though anthony hopkins killed the movie. No offense but i just didnt like Alexander that much though it beat the hell outta Troy. but i did love the scene in the final battle where the leaves are red and he's being carried off. Classic scene
