Which series did you love so much that you wish wouldn't have stopped?
Me? I wish that Fruits Basket would've had a longer anime series. I think the reason it was so much short than the manga was because it was start while they were still writing it, but still I think they should continue it now that they've ended the Manga.
Now you go.

I feel the same way about Evangelion. They made a movie that was suppose to answer more questions but in the end it just confused me more... I think that's what they're going for actually. XD

Back when I was watching it, I wished Naruto would "continue"... before I gave it up because of the filler. Does that count?

Personally i stopped liking Naruto after the Zabuza arc,it actually felt like i was watching ninjas early on lol
DN Angel-I can't believe they ended it like that,Argentine never made it into the adaptation!!!
Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni-3 seasons and i still cant get enough of it,while im at it give me 4 seasons of Umineko no Naku Koro Ni(yeah i know, its not even 12 episodes long yet):p
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha-Not an adaptation of Magical War Chronicles, but a return to the part that was a "magical girl" show and not a shounen about an army...in fact let's not call it Nanoha, let's call it Magical Girl Lyrical Vivio after her daughter,or make it an adaptation of Vivid(manga focused on Nanoha's motherhood).
Elemental Gelade-the animated trailer of the manga Flag of the Blue Sky looked interesting...and 2 of the protagonists where related to the previous cast.
King of Bandits Jing-far too short,I want more.

A manga I wanted to continue was Mugen Spiral. Only two books long! XC I think it should've kept going, it had me hooked.

You people actually want that crappy adaptation of DNAngel to continue? That anime needs a -remake-, not a sequel -.- A remake that would actually follow the original.
As for continuation, Mushishi. It's episodic, so why not? I would watch a hundred more episodes of it. Same for Mononoke. Same for Ayatsuri Sakon (but this one is so old i'm not hoping anymore).

hum hum...i'd probably say trigun could have continued, it stopped very short while the manga kept going until 2008.

What anime wouldn't I want to be longer! Oh! My Goddess, that's one, but they were re-making the episodes, which is good. I started to watch Adventures of Mini-Goddess, so, that will do for now. I've seen all of Full Metal Alchemist, but, I think I'm quite happy with the number of episodes with that one. I've only seen about 8 episodes of Fruits Basket, there is quite a few! I want to watch them all though, but I can't even remember which one I got to.
Cowboy Bebop, wouldn't mind seeing more of that. But, to be honest, with the way work has gone recently I haven't had much time for anime so I'd happily watch the episodes all over again for them all, except FMA, don't know if I could do that again.
There has been a couple of mangas too that I wish had more books.

I wish they would have continued Hellsing. It was so short, I wanna know what happened between Alucard and Integra! And I want to know if the police girl goes her own way or stays with him. I know they are doing a better version of Hellsing that I haven't seen all of. XP Bet it leaves ya hangin' again though.

Yu Yu Hakusho... my favorite anime ever but the ending was SO forced!!
if Togashi wouldnt have become ill, he would have continued it T_T
there were still lots of things unfolded and left to say!
Hiei never told Yukina he was her brother oOo!!!!

@Fuu, same with Hunter x Hunter by the same author =__= The ending was nearly a cliffhanger. Ugh.
yeah, the OVA's ending was forced. But i guess that the ending of HxH anime has to do because the manga is still on-going but because of Togashi's illness he takes CENTURIES to make a new chapter... poor old man, he is my idol, i wish he had a better health )=
Takai

Yeah, it couldn't be helped. But i still would love for it to continue because it'll take me a century to get to the manga. And gasp, someone other than me knows HxH, i might create a thread >.>

Karas-So much to be answered(like what Karas protects the city from when youkai aren't bieng turned into bloodsucking mechs)
Rideback-ballerina+humanoid motorcycle...how can you not want more!?
Soul Eater-that stupid anime-only ending kept me from seeing Black Star's Shadow Star forms in animated form >_<
Natsume Yuujinchou-I want it to go on forever
@fuu:the fact YYH's manga has 1 additional arc is why I started it:rambo:

I am kinda unsure whether i want Natsume to continue or not. Yes, i loved it enough to want to watch it forever, and the stories are episodic for the most part, so that's not an issue either. And there are quite a few questions i still have, especially about Natsume's grandma, and about Natori.
But. There was something.. magical about the way those two seasons were presented  I mean, the stories that took place during summer-fall were aired during summer-fall, and the stories that took place during winter-spring were aired accordingly. How many anime can you name that do that? So, unless they can repeat that pattern and make another double-season, i don't think i want another series.

Yes, i have and I really wish they would have continue with Fruit basket because it was really good and very funny and it was very popular so i don't see why they won't make anymore, Also I,My,Me strawberry Eggs and my wife is a high school girl i would have like to see more of as well, they were both very good and very funny and i would like to know what happened next?

Code Geass- It is just simply awsome and very intelligent (i did hear that they might make a new one but im not sure)
Full Metal Alchemist- A world full of alchemy where you can make stuff in an instant (who doesnt want that to cont. hahah)
D. Gray Man- The manga cont. but watching it was way cooler
Hunter X Hunter- Story is awsome and it ended at a very interesting part. I started reading the manga but it is not as fun so i wish they re-did that part.
Kenichi- Should have cont. in anime
Zatch Bell- Should have cont. in anime

I'm pretty sure Code Geass is getting another anime adaptation.. with different character designs which kinda scared me off x.x I didn't like the original designs that much, but the new ones look plain outrageous in comparison. (just because they're so different).
And yay, another person into our little "Hunter x Hunter must continue" club!

04-13-2010, 05:20 AM
Well i do see your point on Code Geass. i am a bit afraid that our new zero wont be as cool as Lelouch but still i really do love that anime ahhah.
oh and i forgot to mention that i think that Love Hina should totally cont. due to it being an awsome comedy romantic anime
Takai
04-13-2010, 05:27 AM
Mhm. I wouldn't mind another season of Love Hina either, it's one of the very few ecchi series that i love. But didn't it have a conclusion in the anime? I can't remember well, it was among the first 50 i watched ^^;
StarWind

ya your right im pretty sure it did have a conclusion to it but i thought the love between Keitaro and Narusegawa was really nice and cute :)

D. Gray Man is the one I'd most like to continue, because they just... stopped.
More of 'Dragon Half' would be awesome, but what with the drug scandal it's unlikely... the manga is frakkin' hillarious ^^
A little more History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi would be nice, same with Trigun, but I don't really want them to start dragging on, you know?

That's a hard question. There are a bunch of anime that deserve a sequel. Skip Beat desperately needs one as well as Guin Saga. I could always go for more Baccano, House of Five Leaves, Mermaid's Forest, and Natsume Yuujin-chou also.

I would have liked more episodes of FLCL. The yellow motorscooter could have been developed more. And finding someone else, also, to beat on the head with the guitar.

Well, what do you know, Natsume Yuujinchou is indeed continuing. And the start of new Natsume falls on Summer-Autumn season. Which brings hope that there will be one more for the Winter-Spring of next year. How wonderful would that be <3
Let's see.. some of the non-episodic series I'd want to continue. Shounen Onmyouji is one. Though it had a beautiful bittersweet ending, there is no hiding from us that only the first two arcs of the light novel went into it >.> In other words, I want more Guren and Masahiro, and I want more background on the rest of the Shikigami.
Another one is Amatsuki. I'm not even sure what happened in the end of this one. It sort of strayed from the main plot and went into some side story. Finished the side story and ended completely o_o Sounds like an unforeseen budget cut :/ It's really a shame, those 13 episodes were beautiful.

The first six episodes of Eve No Jikan were a good introduction to the characters and setting.
Ergo Proxy could go for another 26 episodes also, the show (as great as it was) seemed like the setup for a whole new story. Like The Hobbit was for LOTR.
