hi i'll start this thread hopefully getting some of my questions answered.d

has there ever been an anime that you just could not grasp? the bigger point of the whole thing is missing? ive had that happen to me a few times but the worst case of that for me would be the movie of Revolutionary Girl Utena. the movie seemed to have nothing to do with the series and besides that, went off into a tangent of events that i couldn't figure out the reason behind. has anyone had this happen/cares to elaborate on other's confusion?

Chrono Crusade

So the demons join forces with the humans to return the darkness to Pandemonium(hell)
and Aion wants to make Heaven and Hell swap places....
So Chrono and Rosette perish shortly after killing Aion, fast forward 50 years Aion walks through city streets with the line "Pandemonium has been filled with Light, Heaven has been filled with Darkness" appearing.

What happened to the Demon Queen's head? its clearly "alive" seeing as the other demons wish to reclaim it from Aion, and I think there was a scene where he was looking through her memories or something, and considering it has the same name as the demon world does that mean she is the demon world itself? Are the demons still allied with the Order to get rid of Aion?

Does this mean Hell literally became Heaven or did they simply "switch" universal alignment?

I just don't get the epilouge:|

I don't understand the point in Full Metal Panic. I understand it when I watch it but where is it going, why are the characters like that? What is the goal of the story?

I don't know, maybe I'm thinking about it too much.

I don't get Air Gear's ending I mean Ikki jumps over like 30 people, to prove a point [after busting his ass several times], and after he succeeds, he looks into the camera, gives a thumbs up and roll credits... WTF!! lmao. Damn those "Oh Great!" studio developers, and their inconclusive anime lol, at least at the end of Tenjho Tenge there's a supposed OVA about the tournament, but Air Gear was just "Yay Ikki!" "Awwwright" the end

I never did understand the plot, the way characters were introduced, and the movement.

The ending of Fruits Basket. (but then again, who wasn't complained about it in some way?)

well Fruit Basket's ending has a good reason for being tough to understand.... and that is that the manga is A LOT MOOOORE long, and most of the doubts of the few episodes of the anime are unfolded later in the manga...
Always when i have doubts about an anime, when i read the manga everything is more clear xD I hate that they sometimes make animes so short thatyou finish up without undertanding anything...

Well i dont undertand...
the ending of Matantei Loki Ragnarok... why does a girl appears in his doorstep in the last minutes? Why? who is her? why is she in calling at Loki's door?;_; that was so confusing and random!!

I'm kinda with Fuu on this one. Loki confused the heck out of me toward the end 0.o I'll be re-watching it with a friend soon, so maybe i will find more answers (some things occur to me only during second time). Or maybe we'll have to hunt down the manga..... sigh.

Yeah i understand you. Rave Master... they ended it exactly in the MIDDLE of the manga XD When Lucia, the evilest villain appears.
If you read the manga you can find the continuation from what you missed in the anime =)
I dont know why they cut it out there xD I hate that.. they did the same with Inuyasha... thankfully theyre starting to continue Inuyasha again xD

I didn't get it at first either but after a second run what happened was Tsukasa was trapped in that virtual MMO because he passed out while playing and his consciousness stood behind in the game and Bear and Mimiru figured that out and their IRL selves investigated where he lived and found him.

Last Exile

*One of my all time fav anime series*, in the limited edition DVD's the booklet it contained maps of Anatoray and Disith, and it showed that the Grand Stream was kind of like an atmospheric equator of some sort; anywho, the Guild wanted to keep the people subservient by controlling their energy supply and that also, Alvis was a key of sorts to a world without Guild, or constant fights with the Disith a.k.a. a peaceful world.

Turns out that in .Hack//Sign Tsukasa was a girl in the real world ^^ you can guess that made some fan girls mad XD

honestly, Outlaw Star. don't get me wrong! I understood it. But why did they make the series almost entirely filler?? I guess they were expecting it to last longer. Summing it up: plot plot plot FILLLLLEEEERRRRRRRRRR plot. The end! It was still an amazing show, though :3

Berserk. D: I was NOT AT ALL satisfied with the ending. The upcoming movie better clear it up.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I highly doubt it.
a. The movie will be an alternative version of the story, not a sequel/clarification/etc.
b. They crammed 30+ volumes of manga into 25 episodes; a complete story is not happening. Plus the manga is still ongoing, so the anime's ending must've been complete bs lol.

Main reason I'm staying away from this one, as much as it interests me.

Oh the last two episodes was like the beginning of a completely different show, and it never explained what was happening... OTL I wish they made it longer so it made sense. xD Or maybe they wanted people to buy the manga... OTL In any case I don't read manga so I'll probably never understand unless someone explains it to me. xD I'll still watch the movie though.
