Okay so what scenario in an anime annoys you the most? Like when you have been super into a series and a plot twist comes along that completely ruins it for you.

One of mine is from Fushigi Yuugi, the part when they are about to start searching for the Shinzaho's and Tamahome visits his family with toys for his baby siblings and to tell them they can live in the city instead of the squaller that they have been suffering in, only to find out that they have been murdered by Suboshi from the Seiryu Seven!

This just rubbed me the wrong way, it seemed like the Yuu Watase was just killing them so that she doesn't have to worry about people complaining that he should stay with his family that needs him instead of going to Miaka's world. I mean if they were going to be an issue why put them in at all, it just seemed really cold that she made that plot twist. Sometimes I think bounderies like that shouldn't be crossed.

Anyways so that is what I am trying to get at ^_^, killing poor babies irks me. It was hard for me not to be angry watching that show after that awful plot twist.

Whats your irkable twist?

Please use the spoiler tag.
[ SPOILER ] spoiler goes here [ /SPOILER ]

edit: thank you ^^

It might also be a good idea to put a spoiler warning into the thread title.

Otherwise, an interesting topic. I'll get back to this later.

I don't really have a specific one, since I think there are plenty~

I don't like long lost/never known siblings popping out of god-knows where scenarios~

okay it's not really a twist...wait, does it count lol?

most hated one?

School Days

When Kotonoha kills herself so the stupid guy do not worry about her. While he was "dating" like 5 other girls. Talk about a jackass that should have died instead

I for one hate the twist in Black cat...
The plot and action was good but they just had to create a good couple and female lead and then kill her. Yup i am referring to Saya

Love Hina's twist ending annoyed me a little...

It turned out neither Mutsumi or Naru were the girls in the photo... and it got to the point I kind of just figured "Does it matter? You like Naru, confess your love for Naru, and stop being a lil' b*tch Keitaro" lmao

Mai Otome
From bieng about an academy of nanomachine-enhanced female bodyguards to a tornado creating evil pipe organ.Yes,you heard me, tornado creating. Didn't help they were still introducing new characters all the way up the end with little to no character development. Needless to say I didnt watch any of the sequals

Martian Successor Nadesico Prince of Darkness

after bieng essentially a parody of mecha anime in general we get thrown the "Inez,Akito,Yurika killed after thier(Akito and Yurika) wedding and adopting Ruri" plot. Fast forward a few years in fact Inez went into hiding,Yurika was captured and Akito? he was expiramented on so much he lost all 5 his senses....so much for his dream of quitting the mecha pilot business and becoming a great cook(as to how he can see, vaguely implied Lapis somehow acts as his senses ) and he forever avoids all his old friends living with just Lapis only stopping to refuel his ship.

I refuse to acknowledge this movie as part of the story.

Higurashi no Koro Ni Kai
after all that build up about demons and curses the reason Hinamizawa keeps bieng destroyed due to genocide is a virus that makes the inhabitants extremely paranoid to the point of murdering one another(doesn't help that they are further driven off the edge bieng able to hear thier god's footsteps but unable to see her)

Makes you wonder why they bothered creating a God to be present besides a reason for why the town keeps getting revived.

Slayers Revolution/Evolution-R
or as i refer to them as,a disgrace to the series....

Revolution's climatic battle was Lina fighting a Zanafar...which she has fought two of in previous seasons, needless to say she had a strategy that killed it off in a good 3-4 minutes. Yeah, some finale that was.

Evolution came down to reviving Rezo(antaganist of the first slayers series) and so long as he keeps his eyes closed Ruby Eyed Shabranigdo won't take over his body. As expected, his status of Shabranigdo's human incarnation causes his soul to be overpowered by the Darklord nearly instantly. It gets worse, this is not the Dark Lord the demons know and love but a "ghost" of Shabranigdo. Let me fill you in on something, the slayers depiction of demons ARE essentially ghosts. the weak ones possess random objects to mold it into a body while the mid-high lvl ones can create and ditch a body whenever they feel like it(hence the reason its hard to kill one for good...if you dont destroy the soul it can come back).SO how can there be a ghost of a ghost!!!?

So they kill him by spamming dragonslave,a spell that invokes Shabranigdo to weaken him and then giga slave him to kill him. First off demons don't get weaker in proportion to how many sorceror's are invoking thier power. That'd be like saying Dynast Grausherra would be short of breath if too many sorcerors used Dynast Breath at one time:|

i get a little rambly when it comes to the mazoku, they are my favorite depiction of demons in anime.....

I hate when a lover that was supposedly
dead/mortally wounded, comes back and ruins a
growing romantic relationship between two
characters. <\3

Full Metal Panic! TSR...I loved it but....

Souske and Kaname finally reunite and they never confess their love to eachother (like in the manga i believe) or hookup Dx All the great suspense, build and development of the characters while they're apart and all she does is pinch his sleeve at the end. I know where they're going with all of it, but SRSLY.

Definetely Soul Eater, the ending was completely nonsense

In the last episodes everyone awakes their ultimate powers, some of them never mentioned before, but no one makes any effect on the evil guy -.- And to make it worse, after all the good guys get defeated the main girl punches the evil guy and kills him with "courage" ¬¬ Seriously, wtf ?

Umineko No Naku Koro Ni - What looks like the end of the show ends up as a "oh, we're gonna just keep dragging this out" scene. And they leave out half of the plot, so if you haven't read the books or played the game or whatever, half of the story doesn't make sense anyway. They drop hints about what's really going on, and then the series just stops without any conclusion.

^doesn't help that it's 4 story arcs compressed into an average of 4-8 episodes each

Rideback
So this was a series about a ballerina who never got over an injury with a robotic motorcycle, somehow it switched to government vs terrorists, with her caught in the mix. Talk about random and out of nowhere.

Stratos 4
So here I was watching what i expected to be an awesome show with girls in form fitting piloting attire blowing up asteroids, but nooooooo. That wasn't good enough, they had to add invading bacteria aliens that take over your body and transmit via making you sexually assault other girls I'm surprised I finished it.

Shakugan no Shana II
The second half wasn't too bad but what happened to the plot of flame-based lifeforms who inspired all myths and eat people's existances? Instead over half of it is typical high school drama, absurdly oblivious male lead, two girls depressed over the new girl. They RETCONNED the love triangle back to square one, adding a third girl and overfocusing on the fact Hecate clings to Yuji like glue, further depressing the two girls. Worst part is this dragged for over half the season, what action there was were flashbacks or some weakling the cast ignored.Doesn't help that all antagonists pulled the same "that was only a fragment of me" trick, meaning it essentially returned to bieng similar to the first seasons climax with a few revelations added.

I just don't care about this series anymore, seems everything that drew me in will remain locked away in those untranslated novels.
