frank

frank is a wandering minstrel, warlock, and wordsmith of great reputation. Of indeterminate age, he stands well over six feet tall, is strongly muscled, but more like a cat. Strong and lean, he is as gentle and tender with the ladies, whom he dearly loves and admires, as he is ferocious when angered or threatened. He travels in seemingly leather tunics, but made of fabrics unknown on Earth. Soft hiking boots, high, and supple. Trousers that fit him well, actually as if they had shapen to his legs. A soft, light tunic, with draw strings criss-crossing, half way down, across his chest. A wide, seemingly leather belt with a buckle that has shapes and patterns which continually shift. A small, seven-inch dirk, at his belt, razor-sharp with a point of needle, but also made of a metal that shimmers and shifts. A magick staff with his personal carvings of magick and power as well as some odd runes and glyphs and sigils. And Cape.
frank is known for his ready wit, a fearless friend but bitter enemy, and always ready to help especially the ladies in the kingdoms where he's traveled.
He always travels with
Sarah, his angel faerie lover. Sarah has magickal properties about her person, allowing her to transform from a tiny faerie (who is usually sitting on frank's shoulder, or is in his pocket ^^) into a full-sized, but still very delicate and petite female. Sarah is very beautiful and very comely, and doesn't mind showing off her beauty of both mind and body. She prefers to not be clothed, but when she must, she covers herself in faerie gauze that shows nothing, but reveals everything. Sarah loves her beauty, her femininity, and the effect she always has on frank. And which he has on her. They are true lovers, bonded by the gods, and each is so much a part of the other, that either would perish if separated.
Sarah was gifted to frank by the gods for the good things which he made to happen, and so, she is a very sensual and sensitive faerie, always eager to please her lover and never denying him any pleasure--even the attentions of the ladies. In fact, Sarah will herself, become easily involved with any of frank's attractions as an active participant. But she can really love only him
Together they travel with
Shoden, frank's racial brother and a dragon of great reputation for having amassed an impossibly large hoard of treasure, cached in his mountain, Mt. Mekelhorn and for his doings about the lands which he has traveled through with frank and Sarah. He puts on a very fierce and dragonly attitude, but secretly inside his huge dragon heart, he finds room for all of mankind and, like frank and Sarah, is always ready to defend rather than to hurt. He does have a bad habit of wanting to catch his prey on the hoof, and enjoys the crunching sounds he hears when his massive teeth-filled jaws shatter the bones of the cattle which are his favorite. frank seems to always be having to pay this farmer or that, one rancher or another, for the mysterious loss of their livestock. But a dragon, after all, must eat!
Shoden is a truly awesome beast. Highly acidic blood, razor sharp talons about a foot long, a staggering height of about 60 feet, weighing close to a thousand pounds. His wing span of about 180 feet allows him to fly and soar easily, even with three or more on his back. Shoden loves his dragon skies and he thinks he owns them.
A horrendous fireball that will melt anything in its way, along with almost impenetrable scales, and with his own awesome magick powers, shoden has to laugh at the puny efforts made by the unwise "dragon-slayers" that have wanted to bolster their reputations. Shoden loves frank and Sarah as much, if not more, as they love him.
But the only person allowed to directly touch him without permission, is his Lady lyra. Without her, he would be nameless. So, he is indebted to Lyra, forever, for that kind gesture. The other things that Shoden allows her to do with him aren't the kinds of things that we can talk about in public
These three formidable lovers, fighters, adventurers and magick bearing creatures are always covered by
Cape. Cape was the cape which frank wore, until it was somehow given human characteristics. Terribly powerful, by its own right, Cape can lift any weight, travel any distance, cloak his people with invisibility, and assumes other magickal dimensions as necessary.
But Cape is a fuss-budget. Always fluttering about like an old woman wringing her hands, trying to make sure everyone is comfortable and well taken care of. When Cape became human-like isn't very clear. But then, most things magickal don't have clearly defned beginnings or endings.
Cape still performs its duties as a cape, including surrounding frank and Sarah from prying eyes, and providing a shield of protection when they become so engrossed in their love for each other, that even Cape tries to blush. But Cape is a good and loyal companion to them all and would disintegrate if he didn't have them to care for.
It's secretly believed that Cape was actually fashioned by Vulcan, himself, from a special metal that plunged to Earth.
Vulcan, it is believed, also made frank's clothing, which is seamless and impervious, as well as his belt and buckle, dirk and sheath. He has made one other magickal cape that we know of, but that's the business of another writing. Vulcan is their friend, especially frank's, but never accompanies them. He is a god, after all, and much too busy tending to his Forge and the matters which employ a god's time.
These, then are the basic persona of frank, Sarah, and Shoden, as well as Cape.^^ Perhaps long over-due in the describing, but well-enough known throughout the magickal lands of ACF, that they each have been accepted as having their own character, their individual appearance, and their unique personalities.
