Introduction:
Same reasons as the first series (http://www.animechatforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=92&t=9576).
Plot and Setting/Story: 10/10
Picks up a good six months or so after the previous series. Fate has been conversing with Nanoha monthly through videomail and informs her she has been released from the Time-Space Administration Bureau and willl be coming to Earth. That night Nanoha is attacked by a girl she's never seen before who uses the ancient Belken magic system and who has declared she is one of the Wolkenritter (German for Cloud Knights), and will be taking Nanoha's powers. Nanoha is easily defeated despite the rescue from Fate, and the two barely manage to escape to the Asura while Nanoha had a great deal of her powers devoured by a magical tome as its blank pages become filled with words.
From there we rewind in time and see The Book of Darkness appoint its newest master, and the Wolkenritter materialize from with its pages to serve their newest master.
Characters/Character Development: 10/10
This season is primarily Chrono getting used to having a sister, and the dedication the Wolkenritter have to their mistress. And of course, Fate getting used to a normal life.
Art/Animation: 7/10
Unfortunatly this anime also suffers from many scenes that are different in the DVD version. One example bieng the lack of a barrier when the characters were blasting through a barrier. But there's nothing that's noticeably different, safe for the way one attack was animated.

Music/Sound: 10/10
This time around the music is even darker, yet somehow maintains the status quo of a few happy songs.
Additional Comments or Warnings:
This anime is eternally one of my favorites. Really struck a cord in me; the fights are even more impressive thanks to the many duels. And this is the series that got Nanoha known as "that show with gundams in loli form". :lol1:
Typical magical girl nudity pops up three times. And there are two scenes that I thought were a little uh... hentai-ish due to the tentacles. But they're only about six second long - no missing clothing, if you're worried about that.
Overall Anime Rating: 10/10
