-Anime/Manga Reviews Guidelines & Help-
The way the Reviews forum works is as follows (note - this may be changed without notice.)
Reviews for an anime, or a manga series, can be written by anyone, any time.
Users who want to submit a review must have seen/read the complete anime/manga, unless the following exception applies:
- The anime/manga is still incomplete, either in the country of origin or in the country where the reviewer lives. In which case, the reviewer must have seen/read as much as is available. Upon having access to more episodes of the incomplete series, the reviewer may (but does not have to) add on or change some details in his/her review.
Users who want to submit their reviews for publication will PM their review to the ACF Reviews Editor (Takai), following the given reviews format. (http://www.animechatforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3545)
The role of the Reviews Editor is to read through the submitted review, ensuring it is in a suitable, consistent and professional format.
The Editor may PM the submitter of the reviewer back to discuss any problems, conflicts or anything else regarding the review, to ensure the review is set at a consistent standard.
The Editor is free to edit the submitted review if necessary - this is to ensure that information is concise and to lessen the impact of any spoilers that must be within the review. The editor can edit a review as much as necessary to bring it to a standard; thus, even inexperienced and younger members of the community can submit a basic review, which the editor can then work into a full review. (^_^)
Providing the submitted review is of suitable standard, the Reviews Editor can then post the submitted review in this forum in its entirety. The author (submitter) of the original review will also be credited in the review. The review will also be Announced on the Frontpage.
The upcoming new FrontPage will have the reviews posted on it as well, in its own Reviews section. I don't know when the new FrontPage will be completed.
Note-
The guide to the layout, format, and information required in the reviews can be found in this topic (http://www.animechatforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3545).
