Hello everybody...
well, I´m Kinomoto Sakura.... 27...
I´ve just had a re-encounter with my Anime side ... I was actually very founded of Sakura Cardcaptor when I was in the university, and also watched a little bit of Saint Seiya, Hinuyasha, Evangelion and Lain back then. Now, I´ve rewatched them, but I´m keeping track of Elfen Lied, Death Note, Full Metal Panic, Pita Ten and Naruto :P
I had a boyfriend up until five months ago, we loved each other very much, so splitting up has been very painful and the only thing that´s kept me from crying all day long and not giving up has been ANIME!! I love how it takes you out of this world and makes you think so much beyond daily life :)
I´ve given many of my co-workers an anime-inspired name... I like playing with reality and relating serious things to Anime...like I´m in charge of some machines at work and I call them my EVAs, like in Evengelion, so I have 11 Eva units and think of myself as Misato Katsuragi right now hehehe
I like science in general, and chemistry in particular...I love learning foreign languages (English is my second language), I also speak Spanish and some German...
Other things I like are drawing, writing short stories, listening to music (lately mostly rock like linking park, evanecense and so on), reading science fiction and other unusual short stories.. I´m into the ¨foundation¨ books by Isaac Asimov at the moment... Oh and also I have this social side of me, I´ve worked with youth groups for most of my life, love education for life (not schooling I mean)... wanted to be a nun or a missioner but didn´t work out! so I´m just a crazy idealist person in this world now, trying to find a place I can belong to :alien:
Pacifist, very bad at lying, but capable of doing it in the name of justice...and I´m also faithful to myself and others by natural instinct!! -- Happy most of the time, but an ¨angry monster¨ when I get mad :twisted: A little bit insecure and shy, but friendly!
Anyways, hope to stay here for long and become good friends!!!
