[glow=blue:3npfttca]Hello all ACF members![/glow:3npfttca]

As the topic title says, ACF will be undergoing a momentary downtime in a day or so, which should last at the most two days.

I have decided to change servers, as the current server the site runs on isn't compatible with a number of features I want to bring to the forum. However the change will take a few days and during that time the site will be unavaible, for which I apologise for.

Like I said the downtime should last no more than a few days, so all I ask is your patience and that you keep checking back every day as this is not the end of the site in any way at all. ACF will come back for bigger and better things!

In advance I thank you all for your patience. ^_^

I hope everybody reads this new post. ^^;

It seems that already the site has been both put onto the new server, and the DNS is correctly pointing to it. If you typed the normal URL in and you can see this message, then it means that the new server is working and the board is back and active. ^_^

It also basically means there was absolutely no downtime whatsoever, although we did lose about 50 posts from this morning, which I apologise for.

Happy ACFing! ^^

Hey all,
to Mac's post I just want to add that with the new server we fixed the clock issue, the response time increased (faster browsing) and got PHP5 and MySQL5 which means more compatibility with newer scripts.
I hope that with it I will finally be able to bring a new feature to this forum. Something I've been working on for quite a few weeks now.

That's all from me and happy posting ^_^

I want my baby back. :(

I hope she's getting a good tan and is well rested.

And not flirting with everybody.

LOL

Just logged on, but everything seems to work just fine. :)

Lol.

It actually surprised me how quick eHostPros managed to do this. They said it would take about two days for the site to be accessible on the new server; and it was literally 30 minutes. O_o

For me, everything seems to be working properly. So this topic is locked. it's useless. ^^;
