Have I your dreams or have you mine
Walk now with me this step in time
Smell the cinnamon on your lips
As Life's cup measure slowly tips.

What was the worth, what was the gain
If all it brought was tears of rain
Each a tiny diamond crystal
Sad to rest upon your mantle.

Is this my dream to share with you
Your lips like honey suckle dew
But gone again the mourning come
To wonder where this tear is from.
