When you deeply fall in love with a character in an anime.

I am not talking about lust either, am talking you are almost ready to give up everything to be with such a person. you like the voice, the face and everything.

well, for me it was Sesshomaru from Inuyasha. he is the reason why i actually endured to watch that whole show. the majestic way he walks, and how cold he is and how he acts. well, yeah i was ready to throw my life a way to be with him. When i first saw his pixel, i could not stop thinking about him. oo mayn, it really sucks. trust me. unfortunately he is only pixel.

Do you have any your self? and not lust guys, i mean a person in anime whom you really loved.

I fall in love with almost every anime female character I see. Except the ugly, ones. Like the non-beautiful demons, like Youma.

But honestly, I can't tell you if it's love or lust. Sometimes my brain doesn't separate the two.

I think if I had to pick an anime character that I loved I would pick Howl from Howl's Moving Castle. He is just kind and a little childish, his fit he throws over his hair being the wrong color always makes me giggle. I am the mothering type like Sophie so I would be drawn to someone that needy anyways. Plus He is a hotty and who doesn't love someone who can cast magical spells and flys. ^_^

Then a morbid part of me loves Alucard from Hellsing. Who wouldn't love a vicious vampire master singling you out and treating you special like "police girl" gets treated. I love the idea of being loved by somebody unlovable... its a fantasy of mine. :">

Rei Ayanami: there's something about her blank, autonomous personality that makes it seem like she's uncorrupted, and if able to, would love somebody back unconditionally.

Orihime Inoue: She's just adorable in that clueless sort of way.

Jo Carpenter [Burst Angel]: She's just all kinds of badass, seems like the tough shelled -yet emotionally vulnerable- person who could protect me.

Yoruichi Shihouin: for the same reasons as Jo lol, with the addition of righteous sentimentality she has towards any given cause.

Mokoto Aoyama [Love Hina]: lmao, guess I have a thing for tough girls. Not only that but despite her hostility towards men, she shows she's still capable of loving someone who'll show her admiration.

Haruhi Suzumiya: the perfect mascot, total disregard for the norm and she's god apparently, lmao.

Just going back over the posts, I thought I'd throw in a clarification. It is to me, at any rate. "Falling in love" with a character and "wanting to marry a character" don't necessarily equate.

On one level, or another, I can love a character, but not want to marry them.

I can love Dorothy from Big O for example. And even want to marry her. (weird mind--mine) But I wouldn't want to marry Faye.

Sailor Moon: love yes, marry no.

Asuka: love, yes. marry, yes.

Irui: love, sort of. marry, they'd lock me up in jail and throw away the key.

Iori. I's Pure. Love maybe. Marry? OO;
