Anyone know much about creating a website?

[for anyone who knows what this is about, i looked on yahoo, and couldn't really find anything like what i'm planning to create, so lookin' good ^_________^ ]

i don't know much about what sorta stuff you need, or how much the average cost is etc... anyone feel like giving a few pointers?

well i don't have a forum but i have a site geocites will give you one for free but it doesn't have much bandwith... anyway- for a forum... try asking Mac or Erk- they just posted new Forums that i'm on...

Bravenet.com offers a lot of resources that may interest you such as a site builder, freebie extra's so on and so forth. They also have a tutorial in case you want to branch into HTML...It's pretty simple to follow. Oh, and they offer like 20 mb of storage which is quite a bit for a free site.

Anyway, that's what RML is under...I think you've seen my site, though I don't remember if you did...

lol, yeah, i did... and it's free? cool! ^_^ WITH an HTML teachy thingy? Doubley cool! ^___^

will surely get around to that, if i ever get a day off work... damnit, i'm a sunday worker T_T

mmm... lucky, i have a official website ( www.garaa-shukaku.com (http://www.garaa-shukaku.com))

and there are no wizards on there.. its advantageous... but somethings are just a pain to make hehe.

at the mo i am making the site, its a naruto fansite.

Heh, i guess i may have noticed this reply a little late? XD

it's more or less up and running now ^_^

It's mainly an animé/ games online magazine-type of thingy-mah-whatsit, although it needs a heck of a lot of reviews still, and the original manga's in no state to go up yet... as the site says, much written, little drawn XD
