@ Montreal. I'd have to say that the characters are more important to me. Character development to me is more essential for the story than plot development. I'm all about relationships and conflicts between the characters ^^

1. I don't think anime is a focal point in my life even now. There are other things that are just as important to me -- seiyuu, music, some people. But as I am right now, I can't see a day where I'll stop caring so much about anime.

2. I can live with someone like that, as long as (s)he respects my interests. There might be conflict, but it's not impossible. Relationship is about something more than just common likes and dislikes.

3. The last time I went, me and my friend only got online once -- to get Russian subtitles for a couple Japanese dramas we were going to watch. The rest of the time we were not even home ^^

I don't know about Tarot as much as you do. There was a character in Kaleido Star (coincidentally, named Fool) who was telling the main character her fortune via Tarot cards. And I remembered a few meanings from there, that was that ^^;

There are so many.. Well, first of all, Animamundi's Georik (duh), and Jan Van Ruthberg from the same game.
From FF6 -- Shadow and Edgar; from FF7 -- Vincent, Sephiroth and Reno; from FF8 -- Laguna, Irvine, Seifer and Fuujin (zomg a girl).
From Haruka Naru Toki no Naka de Hachiyosho series -- Akuram (of course), Yasuaki (onmyoji ftw) and Yorihisa (i think Nue only appears in the anime version, so no Nue).
I haven't actually played any of the Tales of series, but I think Kratos is seriously awesome *.*
Also, Victor Delacroix from Chaos Legion.

Actually, it is. But that's on the surface; it's deeper than that. People come to his bar and tell him about the worries and problems of their life, and he prepares a 'perfect' drink for them. He also talks to them to try and resolve what bothers them. It's pretty psychological.

right now i'm actually considering to go more into information architecture instead of the actual artistic design of the media; i'm still unsure though. i just want to do something i'm comfortable with and something that won't make me bang my head against the wall and cry "why did i ever go into web design" haha~ and i hear information architects recently became a quite necessary job and finding a client would not be hard. i'm planning to take an internship somewhere as information architect.
