Close…But Still Too Far

I’m a lucky one
I don’t have to hid
I can become invisible
Look at that poor fool
Watch as one by one
The tears fall down her face
Too many people have hurt her
I’m surprised she’s lasted this long
I feel sorry for her
When I want to run away
I just fade away
When she wants to run away she can only hide in the dark
I once was like her
Always sad
Always crying
Always feeling lonely
Then I figured out hot to become invisible
She’s close to finding the answer
But yet she still has a long hard journey ahead of her
She will get there one day
Just like many of us
Soon…darling…your day will come
