like, wow... that's pretty good. did you copy it, trace it, or was it drawn freehand?
freehand...I just paused the game in a good screenshot and held r1 which gives you a good picture...
It took like, 4 hours just to get it looking anything like the screenshot did! But It was worth it!

well...if you had a picture that you drew it from, then it's copying.
Tracing: putting a piece of paper over a picture and going over the lines
Copying: having the picture in front of you, and drawing it.
Freehand: drawing completely from imagination or memory.
oh, I guess copying from a screenshot then...but I added stuff that want there and took away things I didn't want. No tracing involved though. that's cheating!
I want to get a picture of long done but it's super hard!

you say it took four hours? That's a long time. I'd expect myself to take that long on a big picture with loads of detail (like one of FF:CC in the caravan which i drew). A picture like that should only take half an hour to an hour and a half.
shh...it's a secret!
plus the picture I did was four times bigger, it's just scaled down alot. and the real picture is way better because you can see the detail better y'know?
And I'm no artist! i said that, I wasn't recommended for art because I'm so bad at it! That's why it took me so long! I'm not amazing at art so that's why I'm proud of it...becuse I did take ages drawing, in other peoples opinions a really lame 30 minute sketch.
but it has value to me, it's my best sketch I've ever done!

i understand how important it is to you. And that it would take a while if you weren't very good at drawing. I was just telling you how long it could take if you were good.

Very good Drawings Jeff. Too bad I can't draw I would draw Jing or one of the Jing girls.
When I can get hold of a scanner I'm going to upload the drawing of Jim Hawking that I did.

Very nice job!
I have no clue on about who you are drawing, but it looks good!
Both pictures are from the bloody roar game serires for playstation one and two. the people can turn into beasts ( a wolf and tiger or other beast forms) and kick some but!
I like to use yugo (wolf) and long (tiger) alot so I decided to spend some quality time drawing them...there ya go!
Thanks ^^
Good pictures ^^ Pity I'm so shite at drawing game characters >_<

I agree. That's an awsome pic.
I play Bloody Roar 2. My fave character's Bakuryu, the ninja mole. hehe. sounds funny. I actually got a drawing of him, but I couldn't transfer it to this site. Dang! The 'Q's for newbies' section doesn't make much sense to me, anyway.

Those pics are pretty nice.
I actually think it's a great talent to be able to copy something. I think it's a gift to be able to draw something, and make it look exactly alike the original you have in front of yourself. Tracing is something else. That's cheating, I think. Small kids do that, because it's easier to make them look exactly alike.
But as for people my age, it's a talent to be able to copy. Drawing freehand is different. That's a sign of that you can really use your imagination, and you have a good memory. It's always a plus. But it's from copying that you can remember, and next time, you'll be drawing it completely out of memory.
Copying teaches you.

Especially hard when you try to copy from the screen, like Jeff did ^^
I love copying! ^^. I copy everything!
If I don't copy something....it usually turns out weird------out of porpotion. I love mixing poses, outfits, weapons, background etc together to make a new combination.....now if I could just scan that pic..
