Yep, it seems as impossible as it looks.

But after several weeks of whinging, complaining, general e-kicking of the billing service and also my bank, I HAVE GOT ACF BACK!!

Unfortunately the freaking Mass E-Mail script is broken (Boo.) so I can't seem to get this around properly. So it's up to you guys to spread the word back around however you can and get everyone back.

This time, I promise, the site will be staying. And there will be no more bullcrud about 'oh no, your site is suspended'.

Also I want to mention out that I intend in the upcoming weeks and months to put ACF through an update phase (yay wireless.) and try my best to fix everything as well as put some new things on here so if you want to see something, please, please ask or post about it and I'll see what I can do.

Here's hoping the site gets stronger now that I've got it back up. ^^.

OMG, don't get me started on Paypal. Because of them doing something with my account, I haven't been able to receive, send, or put my Paypal address on any of my eBay listings so all 20 items that finished the other day cannot be paid for. I have to wait a week. Bum bum

Also, I was signed off work sick and didn't get out of my bed, probably why I didn't notice the site was up and running. I'm glad you're running it now Mac-cy boy. Have you missed me? :P

I plan on making some alterations to the forum in the near future, besides my attempts to update the homepage and forum layout itself.

These include:

Removal of News/Issues and Phil. Disc forums due to general inactivity.
Re-orderring and possible re-naming of forums and forum descriptions.
Hopefully, Fan-fic Sticky or a separate forum for popular and completed Fan fics.
Re-setting-up of the Reviews forum and Reviews submission.

Dunno if I should be posting about this but ^^; so if anyone has any ideas to help me (y'know, anything you guys want to see, this IS your website after all ^^) then feel free to PM me the suggestions.

When you came on today, I was so busy with someone that wanted to talk my ear off and i couldn't get rid of her and comment to you in the posts or the shoutbox.

Just to let you know I wasn't ignoring you. ^^

From what you've said so far, about removing, deleting, and renaming, I don't have any problems with those ideas. Makes sense to me, anyway, and honestly, some of those topics I've /never/ posted in. Looked at em, and often thought they looked good as offerings, but didn't accomplish much from practical level.

Even in the RP section, there are many, many threads that have never been revived by anyone. And the authors are gone. Last time around, I had started locking those that had remained inactive for over a year.

And, right now, there are some threads in sor that are just hanging there. Not good for anything, because they were either timelined, like birthdays, or there isn't any interest. Can those be deleted without killing post count?

Some threads are going to have to have sporadic interest. Like Movies, TV, Books, and those. It might be best to leave those alone. And some are just so popular that they are huge. Like "How Do You See....?" I go back to that one frequently, as far as I can, before it just stops. Like I can only go back about half-way.

Asuka is the same way. Lots of threads tht were opened are meaningless. Because the authors are gone, etc. Can those be pruned or deleted without losing post count or Gil credit? I've already got one that might as well be locked because it's too difficult for the page recognition program to handle. But I dodn't want to lose post count or Gils. Heh.

The other things that you want to do, Reviews, Homepage, etc., are probably just going to have to be done to see what they look like after implementing them. That might not sound helpful, but it really is.

You're the one with the vision Mac. You're the one with the ideas and with technical help, the one who can implement them. And, really, until I can actually see something, it's hard to judge if it's good or bad, needs changing, etc.

What I would really like to see is the special effects store opned up again. But only because I'm funny that way. I like to play with colors and effects. Other members do, too. Most everyone complained bitter tears when it went down. Newer members don't know it was there, so no it's no big loss to them. but it could be a big positive for you. for the site.

And, of course, bot recognition in the registry stage. They are just coming in like a dam burst open. I'm starting to check every new register just to get an idea of the email addies, the IPs (like where they're from, and who they are). And some keep slipping through again, even after they've been banned. Is usually cause the addie wasn't placed as a wildcard in both word censor and ban control.

All of that takes a lot of time Mac. Especially after the post has been made. Check the post, edit the post, move the post, go to profile, sanitize the profile, go to ban control, ban name and email, go to word censor and enter the wildcard, go to our section and make the banned post.

I don't mind doing all this, but if there was a way to record IPs from the registry and to put some kind of a screen in place that would disallow bots it would be helpful.

For right now, I can't think of much more. Except for the bsattle arena. LOL
