Anybody saw all prince of tennis episodes? (I mean all 178)
anyway. i'm a bit confused.
so echizen goes to america for the U.S. Open.
and he first didn't wanted to go cause of the National Competition in Japan.
so.. after the 178 episodes there are the OVA series where he does participate in the national arc
so isn't this weird?? i mean.. since he can go to the U.S. Open AND the national (-> OVA 1 - return of the prince)

Yeah weird. Much eps in the TV series are fillers anyway. Like the Junior Selection Camp for the Japan vs. America tourney. I think Kevin's non-existent in the manga. And much of the later episodes are fillers I guess. Tezuka didn't lose to Ryoma before the Nationals for one.
