so i was just flipping through the channel.. and something happened to catch my attention

it was the "History Channel" (suprisingly) and the show that happened to be on was titled "Last Days on Earth"

the show basically described what kind of factors that would lead to apocalypse..

how will the world end? give me your opinnions

but seriously, assuming we don't blow ourselves up, we're probably looking at either 'The Big Freeze' or 'The Big Rip'... possibly the coolest end-of-universe idea to have scientific weight... starts of slow, takes thousands of years to pull a galaxy apart, but towards the end, it'll rip even subatomic particles apart XD

There will bea huge explousion made by aliens because we have fed up the planet so much they decided to get rid of humans and the bomb only effects humans.

How will the world end?

I reckon a meteor or asteroid (or plural of said meteor or asteroid) will crash into the Earth creating a massive explosion which will kill almost everything, and anything left will be killed by the concurrent cloud of dust that covers the skies for a few years.

I also reckon it'll happen in 2016. dunno why. it's just that I'll be 28 then =P

Meteors we can theoretically deal with... we have enough of a nuclear arsenal to level a continent. A lump of space rock should pose little problem, especially as we can use subsequent missiles to deflect the debris.

it hasn't happened on it's own.
