Weapons: Besides magic, Raine has a staff. This staff was once a miniature flowering tree that grew in the shadows on the sands on Mars, which she received from her Brother. As if in sync with her metamorphosis, the tree transformed into a long staff; at the top rests a large auburn flower which contains red-tan Mars sand instead of pollen. The scent of Time and Secret Things embraces the entire staff.
~Background~
Raine used to be a pixie princess who was learning how to be able to take care of the Kingdom when her time arrived. She spent a lot of time with her father, Makani, meditating amongst nature, so her mysterious, unfathomable connection with nature was detected at an early age. Raine also enjoyed sparring with her mother, Sylvia, as well learning how to use various weapons.
As Raine got older, and she gained Elva as a little sister, she wanted to do more for her people, and so began the task of becoming an ambassador for the Pixie Kingdom. This was actually one of the hardest things for her to do, as she was constantly judged by outsiders and even her own people. Raine had to work hard to earn the respect that was needed for the title of ambassador. Her gentle nature, timid appearance, and even her very existence were the cause of such abuse.
As a result of enduring such a thing, Raine gained the confidence and strong presence that her mother possessed, meaning that Raine can be loud when she wants to be. She still retained her usual nature, but it was evident that a part of the pixie had hardened in order to survive such a world; very few know of the hardships that Raine endured as an ambassador (including attempts on her life).
Even so, Raine remained an ambassador and still minded her duties as a princess. This said, Raine worked a lot and came to greatly appreciate any down-time that she could get. Because of the work load, she was often stressed and would sometimes find Makani and meditate with him to ease said stress. Whenever she couldn't get away, Raine would at least enjoy the journey to whatever destination lay ahead of her.
Years later, Raine began to feel strange and listless. While she traveled a lot, as was required of her position, she developed an extreme wanderlust that seemed to grow daily. Raine found herself growing irritable whenever she was in the Pixie Kingdom for more than a few days, and began questioning what she was doing. She began to alienate herself from the Kingdom, spending more and more time in her own Home, though she still worked diligently as a princess and ambassador.
Eventually, Raine broke off from the Pixie Kingdom, telling only her parents as to why she was doing so; she was surprised when her sister did the same thing, but then understood that the both of them were undergoing some type of metamorphosis. Raine guessed that her parents knew more than they were letting on at that point, but was happy that they trusted her; she was also honored when they said that she would always be their daughter, regardless of what may happen.
Soon after, Raine packed her things and went back to her own Home. She stayed there for a while, trying to better understand what she was experiencing, but the wanderlust burned in her heart again. So, Raine gathered the items needed for travel, as well as a bit of memorabilia, and left her long-time Home; she knew that she would have another Home, someday.
~Personality~
Even after the transformation, Raine still retains a playful, even mysterious air. She's empathetic and a kind-hearted creature. However, her temper has worsened which in turn has affected her patience, though she does her best to keep herself in check. Raine's very stubborn and believes in herself; she loves music, nature, and cooking.
~Appearance~
*Physical: Raine is of a medium-build, has skin the color of iced mocha, and her ears are pointed. Raine has two birthmarks. One is on her solar plexus and represents Dawn in nature's language; the other is on her left arm and represents The Phoenix in nature's language. Both markings are ivory in color.
*Attire: Raine always has three silver earrings in her left ear. She wears a variety of outfits, but instead of carrying around so many clothes, Raine simply alters what she has through the art of sewing.
*Other: Raine also has a Cape, just like her Brother, frank. Her Cape, which was forged by Vulcan, is spun out of a metal that is softer than any leather, and colored the same as Vulcan's scarlet fires and lined another material of only he knows what inside; it's the color of the blue flames at the hottest part of his forge. It's trimmed along the edges with yet another material that shifts back and forth from being steel black to soft silver. And Cape has golden ties as well, and has a draping collar that is large enough to become a protecting and masking hood.
Cape can change color at Raine's will, can withstand the most fierce of any dragon blast of fire or sound, even Shoden's or Shaden's, is impenetrable, by anything, whether steel blade of magic or dragon claw, will take Raine wherever she wishes, and can make her invisible. Cape can compact itself to a tiny item, like a necklace or belt, and it's own gold ties provide the chain. Raine most often has Cape turn into a necklace. An interesting bit about Raine's Cape is that it seems to be distinctly feminine. Perhaps from being around its Mistress for so long?
