Anything by Jia Peng Fang. He takes you to a different place with his music. It relieves all stress and it just makes me feel wonderful. I suggest looking him up.

My "calm" music is usually from OSTs of anime or videogames. Currently Morning Glow from FFX-2 Yuna Vocal Soundtrck is one of my favorites.

Pretty much every song I have is either incredibly melodramatic, shout metal or Emo, so I don't really have anything to chill out to. ^^;;

But probably anything from The Prodigy. Except I will end up mouthing the words out in my bedroom and stuff at the same time.

I don't actually listen to music to calm actually, I only like listening to it if I'm in a good mood, and what I listent to depends on what mood I'm in. Everything in my life depends on what emotion I'm feeling at the time...

Jazz. quiet, though. and fusion works good, too. I like the older styles of ballad-stye jazz like Stan Kenton.Listening to stuff, not dancing to. Not even slow dancing.

And Yani. oh yeah! ^^

Also Hayden's flute compositons and almost any 12-string guitar sounds.

Even a soft, quiet, lonely clarinet in the middle of the night. Dude!! Immediate stress relief. ^^

I have a lot of ambient sound stuff - Steve Roach and Tuu are good. Lustmord is my favorite for now, but his stuff is pretty dark. I'm not sure you would call some of it "music", a lot of it sounds like the background for a horror movie.

The 1000 words song in Final Fantasy is quite nice... lol
