View Full Version : Eragon
Well I haven't read the book or seen the movie yet
But still.
Has anyone seen the movie of Eragon yet? I'm interested in it and I'm thinking of maybe getting it if it's good enough. I'm really after opinions on it, hopefully someone else has seen it.
Opinions?

i'm actually gonna see it today. so i'll tell you how it is. i read the book last year for a class project, it was good, so i'd expect the movie to be just as good, if not better.

I saw it this weekend and all I can say is WHAT THE F*CK.
They altered the storyline too much to be ignored. The dragon was the ONLY thing done halfway right. They also didn't add enough characters from the book and they skipped significant events in the book, like Eragon's conversation with Togira Ikonoka at the end.
How the f*ck did they turn a 700 something page book written by an angsty 15-yr-old into a somewhat happy movie with a perky pop song at the end??
All in all, here's my advice - read the book, because I have no critisicms about that, but don't waste $8 to go see the movie.
