well here goes my 1st manga review attempt ^^
Nina Sakura is a defunct witch in training from the Magic Kingdom, studying on Earth in hopes of bettering her grades. When the popular Ayu Teteishi stumbles upon a PC she mistakens for a video game, she returns it to Nina. Nina decides to let Ayu in the secret that she's a witch from the Magic Kingdom, and the two become best friends, together dealing with the everydays of friendship and romance.
Ill probably review the anime as I get further into it,but a few major differences I know of now is the blonde witch and obsessed guy that stalks nina were anime only characters. Also,Nina has no ugly magical transformation dress(I wouldn’t mind its design if not for the hat -.-) and the most important difference is the anime’s storyline of Nina being a candidate to become princess of her realm does not apply here, she’s simply a failure witch in training who has been transferred to the human world because of how bad her skills to be blunt. Any other changes would be spoilers ^^
This series is a comedy/romance/magic girl(sort of…)
I especially love the charcters facial expressions when shocked in comedic moments, not often in anime you see eyes getting quite so huge lol. Since the collect the holy stones and become princess thing isn’t here its basiclly Nina uses her magic trying to help Ayu(most popular girl in school) confess to kaji(most popular boy) screwing up badly, but the romance in the manga moves at a surprisingly fast pace…the manga is about five five chapter volumes, and they say the last volume comes with an epilogue(im only up to volume 3).The manga is licensed and has been completed apparently. I have also noticed in the manga that Nina refers to herself in the third person(instead of I she says her name)
the arts pretty beautiful(especially the chapter cover pages)
there really isnt anything more to say about it,as i said its purely romance/comedy
