Hurting

[Kawaii Shuichi]

I've broken up with my girlfriend saturday and wrote this poem:

The courage needed
To say goodbye.
Afraid of hurting you
It hurts inside.
My heart throbs
Flowing with love
But I know what I must do
Letting go of the dove.
It hurts enough
Leaving you behind
But it hurts even more
Knowing I won't be on your mind.
Crying inside
As I turn to leave.
You don't even blink.
My heart begins to bleed.
You can't love more than one.
You've proven this is true.
Now I walk alone
Trying to get over you.

I can only write what I feel...and usually I only sit down long enough to write something when I'm depressed....But indeed...I'll continue to write.

That brings a tear to my eyes. I can relate to it.....
breaking up can be so painful sometimes...It reminded me of my breakup with my first gf....You know how first loves are...
