I'm halfway through season three, and Sakura still hasn't attacked anyone except Naruto and that guy who grabbed her butt. Do her ninja skills consist solely of yelling "Sasuke" and crying?

Sakura actually got kinda epic in 2nd series. I guess learning under Tsunade-sama was quite effective for her. She is very smart too; she is becoming a very fine medical ninja. I never thought I'd like her. Also, coincidentally, she is pretty cool as long as Sasuke isn't around O_o

Guess I'll keep watching it then... I'm at the part where they're in the Forest of Death, Naruto and Sasuke are both down for the count. Sakura decides "It's up to me now!" and then bravely falls asleep. I was kinda leery from the beginning about a series featuring a ninja in a bright orange jump suit. But if it gets better, I'll stick with it. Thanks!

Sorry to disappoint you, but after ep.135 of the first series is the beginning of endless fillers. And i mean endless. The first series never gets back on topic and just finishes off with fillers. I watched until 168 or something and dropped it; it was impossible for me to stand that nonsense anymore ^^; After that, I told myself that I'm not going anywhere near Shippuuden.
And what do you think? I watched episode 1 the moment it got subbed -_- lol But I didn't regret it yet. It really does get better. I heard there are fillers there again, but not as long or as bad as the first series' were. But I really am surprised at Sakura. Unlike Naruto, she really grew up. To observe the situation and admit to herself "I stand no chance against him" is something that Sakura of the past would not have done. ^^

I wonder if they'll ever release a "cut" version of the series, with all the repeated stuff deleted so you can actually watch it without your finger on the fast-forward button.
