Rain falls down upon me
My body goes numb
I can feel it in my bones
I wait for the end to come

Rain hits my face
Like being spit on again
Are you forsaking me too
Maybe I should have never been

Why do you call me worthless
Saying all never be good at anything
Your wrong, you jerk
You just think your the king

You tell me to wash the tables
Its good practice for my life job
Your highest expectation is for me to be a waitress
I swear you love to watch me sob

What are you trying to prove
By saying such a cold word
That you can bring me down
keeping me like a caged bird

Maybe I am worthless
But you dont have to say it
I’m trying ok
So leave me alone and stop having such a fit

I sit up in the rain
I’m soaked to the bone
I walk inside the house
No way I’m letting you win this and leave me alone.

Standing with a snarl
is my father i see
He's mouthing words
tearing at me.

We are the same

I wipe away my tears
leaving a trail of chrome.
