I know not of happiness or love
Pain is my only friend now
I am the tortured soul
Long since left behind

Solemnly do I walk
Down the road of life
Through obstacle & obstruction
I have progressed this far

I see a loving couple
Bathing in their happiness
Why must I go ignored
I ask you where’s mine

I will not quit
I will not go quietly
You tell me it is my fate
That I am damned until I die

Thus I am the tortured soul
A plaything for the gods
Stuck in this world
Until the day of my release
