My Prayer
This is for my God.
I'm sorry for my corrupt ways, and how I've chosen to live my life.
So in my moment of regret.....I pour out my soul to you.
Hear me my God as I cry to the sky..
Come for me swiftly. For I'm ready to die...
Looked down on by others, I turned the other cheek.
I gave into the pain, and that made me weak.
Long sleepless nights, or nightmare when I would sleep.
I gave into temptation, no longer one of your sheep.
I cursed your name, gave into revenge and greed.
I lived for myself, and sew a horrible seed.
I grew up in your word, and took you in my heart.
I then tossed you aside, and my life fell apart.
So I beg you for forgiveness, to mend the heart I tare.
Forgive me of my transgressions, this is my prayer.
