Okay, I know that this may seem to be a bit of a loaded topic here, but I'm really interested in knowing the reasons for this.

1.) If you are a U.S. citizen, and are old enough to vote in the 2004 Elections, please, state why you are voting for either Bush or Kerry in this thread.

2.) If you are a U.S. citizen, but are not old enough to vote, or have not registered to vote in time for the elections this year...please, state your reasoning for why you would vote that way IF YOU COULD.

3.) If you are not a U.S. citizen, you may post your feelings about either candidate in here.

Rules:
Please, refrain from comments such as: BUSH/KERRY ROCKS! BUSH/KERRY SUCKS! Or any one liners such as these. Those are spam and they will be deleted automatically. Also, these are just the opinions of the members of ACF, so please, give everyone a chance to voice out their oppinion on the matter. Don't flame, bate, or troll anyone for their oppinion. And please, refrain from debating the opinions in this topic. If you wanna debate the decisions others are making, then create a new thread either in General or in Spam (<--only if you're going to use one-liners should you post the debate in there.) Also, if you don't care what is going on regarding this topic, then please, refrain from commenting. I don't want this topic to become full of spam with people who don't care.

However you feel or vote is really up to you. I'm just looking for the reasoning behind a person's decisions or feelings towards these two candidates. So, please, be as honest as possible. Also, support your decision in the same post. Give everyone a chance to speak their mind on this one. Don't just say that you're voting for either Bush or Kerry (Even Ralph Nader, if you know who he is and what he stands for) and leave it at that. I really am interested in knowing what everyone thinks and feels about these two candidates.

I'm not a US citizen, but I'd vote for Kerry.

Considering he 'won' the debate with Bush, he had better things to come with. Like Jay Leno said; "I don't know about this Kerry guy, but he can't be worse than Bush."

I'd vote for Kerry because he makes more sense than Dubya, and the way he speaks, I can judge that he has more intelligence than that ape for president.

But then again, God knows what would happen if he'd be elected. I'm just saying I think he'd be better than Bush, most definately.

But I have a bad feeling that Bush will win anyway.

Well, as it is, (sorry I didn't state this sooner, but it was like 4:30 am when I posted this topic) I'm most likely going to vote for Bush.

Personally, I could care less if he licks his lips before he talks or if he doesn't know how to speak proper English. I like the bulk of his issues from what I do know about them.

Bush's Health Care plan looks good, in that it helps out people who are self-employed to get quality care. Kerry's plan is focusing more on the point of quantity and so-called SAVING's. Sorry, but when it comes to my health, I'm not really worried about saving $1,000 a month...I'm more worried about what happens to me if I am bleeding to death on the street. I don't want to die because the doctor was just trying to save me a few bucks.

Bush's foreign policy is more to my liking than Kerry's is. As far as Nuclear Proliferation goes in North Korea...It's better for us to go in with an ally like China (as Bush Plans) rather than go in there alone (like Kerry Plans) only to have the door slammed in our faces. It is my understanding that the N. Korean's hold more respect for China than they do for the U.S. And when we do go in for talks, I want to make sure that there will ACTUALLY BE talks instead of the N. Korean's walking out before anything is even said.

As far as Outsourcing of American Jobs goes, that is a fact of life now, and always will be. Kerry says that he will stop it and bring jobs back to America. Looks good, but it doesn't mean that it is. I'm thinking about the hurndreds of thousands of American's who will lose their jobs due to Forced Retirements or lack of education to preform the job. People are losing jobs now as it is to outsourcing, but it is also making way for small business to expand and for the people to attain new jobs in the future.

Now, this is only a short list of few things that are making me lean more towards voting for Bush rather than Kerry. I'm not voting for either candidate because of a public popularity contest, I'm taking a look at what they both have to offer and I actually like Bush's plans more than I like Kerry's plans.

I'd vote for bush because one, John kerry is an idiot who can never make up his mind on his decisions, he allways follows the polls.
Bush keeps at what hes doing and doesnt change, second kerry is going to cut military funding, anyway thats what i think and for all you people who are afraid of the draft kerry is more likely to use it than bush. For you tax payers You've heard kerry say he'll get rid of bushe's tax cut which means higher taxes. I, being a christian, am against abortions and homosexuality which kerry is campigning for, he calls himself a christian and supports these ideas, he was excommunicated (lol). But bush has done a great job so far the economy has gone up, more people own houses and hold jobs and there hasnt been a terrorist attack on america since 9-11.
And uh for kerry YOU CANT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS.

I beleive that Bush is actually just the more poular canidate.
But I think Kerry, is actually the better canidate.
I dont know which one I would vote for. I think that Bush has more experience.
And just because Kerry went to war and got 3 purple hearts, means nothing.
Yes, Bush has been the only president in like 60 years to actually lose jobs then rather gain jobs as a president.
So, I am not sure who I would vote for.
