answering, that by instead of just letting those things go that I can't control or change, regardless of how good those things are and what they'll accomplish, if the control is in the hands of others with their own values and judgements resulting in nothing being done but a slow erosion, I tend to want to continue to make my ideas and opinions known, full-well knowing that experience has taught me it won't do any good and nothing will change. That tends to be an exercise in futility, resulting in frustration and my nerves being affected negatively, instead of just saying to hell with it.
