As some of you might know, a friend of mine was killed yesterday, and my manager from work was put into intensive care by a 22 ton JCB falling on top of them in a car. As you can probably think, I'm devastated. I'll be back , maybe in a few weeks, maybe in a few days. I'm finding it hard at the moment so I'm having to keep bsy by spending time with family and friends. But I will be back, to see my friends on here. I was just posting to say where I was, in case anyone starts to wonder.

Take as much time as you need, and we'll be here for you, either if you need us, or for when you return :)

Thanks guys for all your support, I do need it, it's a tough time, especially at work. Everyone misses her so much. Her funeral was today, so I thought I'd come online just to check some emails. It was such a good ceremony, and everyone from work was there. She was only 24, loved by loads (the church was packed!) and one of the nicest people I've ever met.

The lorry carrying a 35 ton JCB, not 22 ton, was told by his boss, I think, not to check the harness because he wasn't going far and he thought it would be ok, but the harness was only designed for 3 ton JCBs, not 35 ton, that's why it came off and squashed the car flat. Apparantly when the guy gets charged, possibly the worst charge he will get is 'unsafe load on vehicle' which is a penalty of 3 points on his licence and a £2000 fine to the company. I dislike the way our justice system works, I really do.

I'm sorry if you don't want to hear about any of this, but it helps me to feel better if I discuss the matter amongst friends. I will be back, but I need some time alone. I have to work full time now because of my manager being off work. She only suffered a black eye, crushed hand and sore ribs. I'm so glad she's alive. I will be back, and thanks again guys.

Thank you guys. I'm back, but I'm still finding it hard, and I have a lot of pent up frustration. 7mintes's dog got ran over too shortly after that, she was a favourite of mine, that made me worse. It's why I didn't come online earlier. My personality has totally changed since this all happened too. I used to love music, shopping and soup now I absolutely detest them and would rather spend my time reading. I normally hate reading. What's wrong with me?
