you all know, there is at least one anime that defines you, and the way you are. you wouldnt be who you are today without it. maybe? @_@

mine would be ~
Cowboy Bebop, or Trigun.

Why does it define me?
because though it has very serious and sad undertones, it can be very light hearted.

hm... hard to say. Probably Serial Experiments Lain.

Because, it's all about me, but I keep everyone at arms length and let people watch me fall apart.

>_< or sometimes, at least.

Other times, it's Haibane Renmei.

Unsure about what I really am, and i want to know.

OMG this is so unfair. Like I tend to fall into almost every anime with some excepions.

Cowboy BeBop (action and goal-oriented)

FLCL (slightly insane, but sooooo erotic)

Inuyasha (magick)

I can't narrow it down.

Probably Oh My Goddess. They look a bit airey in the head but are rather intelligent.

I'm not saying I'm intelligent, I'm saying I just look like I'm an airey blonde, but I'm not.

There are lots that define me,

but for now, as random as my life is... I think it would have to be, Furi Kuri. (FLCL)

Most likely Death Note, because I have Light's hatred for the human populace on the whole, and will use most anybody to see that my goal is acheived.

Which I realize is not a good thing.

Which anime defines me?

Probably Dragon Drive - more specifically, like Reiji. I'm lazy, I oversleep. I bunk(ed) at school, and I go bonkers about dragons. o_o

I can't narrow it down.

Still.

There are bound to be some new ones out there that are dragon, questing, and magick oriented, but these (above) are still good. ^^

And if it hadn't been for Sailor Moon, I never would have known about anime.

Gundam Wing. It was the first anime that I ever saw, way back when it was on Cartoon Network's Toonami (before the DBZ takeover). I liked the giant mecha, the fact that the teenage protagonists (excepting Relena) weren't whiny kids, and the overall excellence of the plot. Also, the characters of Zechs Marquise and Treize Kushrenada were of a caliber rarely seen (chivalrous and not entirely clear-cut good or evil). And finally, who can resist the allure of weaponry that can level an entire city or space colony in one shot?

Big O--because of Dorothy.

I don't even know if it's anime, but I think I identify most with that one.

Hmm...

I guess I would have to say Neon Genesis Evangelion defines me cause I'm a really cryptic and philosophical person atleast 67% of the time. A "Cogito Ergo Sum" type of person I guess you can say.

I've got a few.

Trigun - said before, drama hidden behind happiness. prosperity and tragedy.

FLCL - Random, painful to watch, addicting, happy and sad.

Haibane-Renmei - Gentle, promising.
