Both Lucas and Kei served and believed in their same goddess, the cat god Mo. Mo had created the anthropomorphs in the beginning of time, and she was still believed to still appear to the warriors that fought for her cause. Her religion wasn't one of great consequences, or one of great needs. They simply must believe in her and follow her morals, though there was no ending punishment, or any punishment at all for not following her. Kei and Lucas both followed her morals happily, helping those out who need it, fighting to protect their people and villages, and being an all around good person, worshiping Mo in the silence of their homes, or in the temple, located in the far north mountains of the land....
**Lucas ventured up the long steps of the temple, heading for the door. He lifted one foot paw after the other, laying them softly upon the next step up. His tail waved slightly, making a soft swishing noise as he climbed up the stairs. He yawned, and covered his mouth as he did. He bowed his head and whispered a small prayer, asking the forgiveness of Mo for being like this in her house. As he got to the door, he opened it and stepped inside, walking towards the next set of doors. He opened those as well, looking out at the altar in front of him. He bowed his torso slightly, then walked to the altar and got onto his knees, taking off his gloves and bowing again.
"Mo, mother of anthros, take upon thyself my sins, for I am too weak to carry them on my own. Please forgive me of my sins, and give me the power to overcome them when they show again. Thank you Mo, my goddess."
He then took out a totem from his pocket, putting it onto the altar, then he turned and left, deciding to visit again some other day.**
