attempt at another poem @.@;

We said some things we didn't mean
But was it you or was it me?
You will not answer when I ask.
Please throw me a bone, discard your mask.
Tell me the truth, why are you mad?
Quit hiding behind your lies, it's annoying, just a tad.
You sit there, that fake smile across your face
I glare at you, I try to put you in your place.

Tell me, friend, what did I do?
Tell me, friend, was I the fool?
Tell me, friend, what did I do?
Tell me, now, I will make amends new!

If you tell me what's on your mind
I will clarrify and get rid of this sad bind.
Who are you fooling? Maybe them, not me.
I see through you, I will not let you be.

Tell me, friend, what did I do?
Tell me, friend, was I the fool?
Tell me, friend, what did I do?
Tell me, now, I will make amends new!

Tell me what's wrong so we can start over.
I don't want to lose our friendship, no not ever.
So tell me now, what's the bother?
Please tell me, you're like my brother!

Can I borrow this one and send it to afriendwho was, but is not now.

Not too many things can make this Wizard cry. Your poem did. As well as the friendwho was.

It is such a good piece, I hate it!

Tomorrow I will love it, but right now is still too soon for anyone, however unknowingly and innocently, to mirror the agony of my heart.

Zelda, I think that is one of the functions of poetry. Is to be able to touch our hearts and souls in a way that nothing else can.

Don't apologize, please. Then I'd feel like I made you feel bad. I wouldn't want to do that to any creative writer.
