in this anime there are 2 artifical flying cities known as Edens,the story begins when assasins from Eden come down to assasinate Yorn(our hero) calling him the godhunter of ancient myth.He is later rescued(in an unconscious state) by an elf girl that tags along with him,but she is obviously a god as its hinted at ALOT(through murals,and the legend of the god hunter).thats the jist of it for the story
btw keep in mind Edens have cars,mecha,ect. and the ground is mideval period.
when episode 1 begins you recieve a fragment of the story of the godhunter.to summarize it God became angry when humans didnt follow the destiny he wanted to he punished them severly,then 1 day a man came and killed God his blood becoming a red mist that tormented humans for ceturies.Over time the mist gave rise to the new gods whom watched over humanity.(theres alot more to the legend but more appears as the story goes on)
the series starts out as a comedy but it slowly looses its humor over time to its unexpected conclusion.Dont know how the manga compares t o the anime but i hear Elisiss can defend hersle alot better in the manga then the anime(she has a sailor moonish transformation she uses about 4 times in the series but she usually fights hand to hand)the characters are all interesting and have very creative back grounds though you'd think the Princes of Forsight would be more important to the story which is my only gripe.
iv heard Bowy is another way to say boy meaning the series really means Eden's Boy(tis a spoiler to tell you the signifacance)
The designs of the Gods are interesting with Elissis bieng elflike in appearance,her sister a white leopard,a God simply known as God(lets say he spends most of his time as a giant fish),as well as another god that resembles and adult Elisis(she and Yorn look about 13) but she's just a flashback in the anime,i hear she's important to the manga though.
theres not much blood in this anime,and its mostly child friendly even though it gets freaky with the life extraction machines and whatnot,but there are some death scenes.
the 2 Edens always going after Yorn is a slight dissapointment since there are 2 godhunters in this series and they completely ignore spike's existance(the 2 edens fight over the godhunter),but overall quite good as i said.
of the 2 edens yanous is the most entertaining with its neko ruler,her niece,viloog and Goldo's stupidity at carrying out orders(they always get lost and make poems when Nyako asks thier location lol,but they are master warriors nonetheless) unlike Yllgaha which is entirely serious and this Eden uses souls as a power source unlike the other.

Yorn
our hero/dufus whom is a godhunter,but has no intension on killing gods.
son of the Princess of Foresight whom surprisingly has no role other then bieng kidnapped and rescued :roll:
Spike
the other god hunter,like Yorn he used to have a female god as a companion but...(lets just say she is no more)
Denyrmo(pronounced den ehr moe)
like Elisis a god that fell in love with a godhunter by watching over the godhunter from heaven since its infancy,she resembles an adult version of Elissis(different outfit,hair color,wing color,and forehead symbol)
Sakura
quite an airhead of an eney lol,but she gets serious in the few battles she's in
Konyako
niece of Nyako and temporary ruler when she's away
Nyako
ruler of the smaller more peaceful Eden(that dont mean she's friendly,she still wants to kill the godhunter)
Goldo & Vilog
despite thier glowing red eyes they're idiots and the comedy relief.Vilog gets the 2 lost most of the time so they dont fight the godhunter much due to always bieng lost,he's also a puppet master. Goldo the smarter 1 is a master swords man and likes making poems in odd situations
Parellaa genius who defected to 1 enden then abandoned them both after her little brothers death she plays a role with the main characters,but i hear in the manga she's a mentor to Yorn and teaches him how to use mental energy(doesnt happen in the anime)
Agumaika
father of Fennis and instigator of the Coup De Ta for democracy(it fails horridbly).he seems coldhearted to his daughter but its his way of protecting her
Fennis
among the strongest magic users of Yurugaha(the more aggressive eden),and is a technician of the magic sciences.childhood friends with Vito,Sakura, and Hera.in combat spheres hover around her allowing her t osee behind her and make barriers.she's also telepathic(only communicates with hera and Vito though)
Elisiss
basiclly 13-10 yr old version of Denyrmo,she's cute but kinda dead weight(though i hear she's a fighter in the manga)her alter ego elps Yorn out alot
Enefea
sister of Elisiss,she was sast from heaven when she was cursed int othe form of a white leopard(we never see her true form in the anime) but she can speak and fire energy blasts lol
Hera
best friend of Fennis,the present Hera is an android whom had a soul inserted as the real 1 was killed and only seen in flashbacks(but she does have the soul of the real Hera)
Vito
brother of Hera,he turned her into a battle android(or puppet) to save her
Oyaj
swordsman in his 30s or 40s that rescues the princess of foresight in episode 1 and is a guide for Yorn.
other then the wastelands and forests the series takes place in the 2 Edens and 3 towns
