It was said that in ancient times there was a sword called Escaluvaria, hidden in the island of of a place called Avalas, a paradise shaped by its ruler. It was a mighty sword with enough power to ensure victory to who ever weilded the great sword, as well as creating a paradise. Various rulers of Avalas have wielded the sword, though it is often misused thus vanishing it back into the depths of the Earth.
Priests and Priestesses quickly decided on what to do with the sword, how to keep it from vanishing. The only answer they could think of was for it to be sealed inside a person, infusing it with it's power. Only then could it remain on Avalas without massive chaos occuring.
It is now the year 2199, Avalas is long gone, some say it was destoryed when the gates of the Hades was opened. Others say it is hidden too well to be found. It's been generations since the child was infused with the great sword's power.
The world is parishing under the influences of darkness... since the time that hell opened up, revealing an army of demons, legions, and dark creatures that have never been heard of.... Many races have searched for Avalas and the wielder of the sword, to open the gates of the paradise they create only to be dismayed, due to the fact that the island is now hidden and can only be found with the help of the one who is Escaluvaria and its partner... Sheath of the Fallen Wing.
It seems as if the only hope for humanity is to find the Sheath and Escaluvaria to defeat the darkness and rid the world of demons. However, the light is not the only kind searching for the Sheath, many demons wishing to have complete control over the world are also in search.... Whether if it is the light or darkness who wins, it is completely up to wielder of Escaluvaria and the Fallen Wing.
Today, the sword will finally be able to be seperated from its human host. On the humans sixteenth birthday it will come forth. The reason for this is because it senses the end is near.
