The only reson I got to see this movie was because it was late at night and the theater that was playing Howls moving castle was closed so I got to watch this move with my "family". and Iam glad to say I glad I missed the Anime movie.

This movie rocks. Tom Cruise did his best work in this film. I have to say I am impressed by the special effects too. I might give the book by HG Wells a good lookover real soon and that is coming from the "I hate everything mod."

i loved this movie! i was with LB-chan and we were clinging to each other the entire time, it was so intense! but in the end, we were just glad Robbie survived! ^.~ he was HOT! ^^

This is one of the great movies that we will treasure forever. HG Wells was genius when it came to suspense, action and adventure. If you loved the movie, read the book. It is a really good read. ;)

Anywho remakes seem to be the new fad these days. The majority of them are poorly done. Those from books almost never go in correlation with the book. The best I have seen is Harry Potter, yes Harry Potter.
Modern remakes generally mean see the original and don't bother with the Americanize, Hollywood-ize, and moderize remakes.

I loved the movie. It was actionyish, but had the humor needed to make a good movie. Also it was very suspenseful, I was litterally shaking while I watched it.

Went to see it, but it's a very disturbing movie. I actually had nightmares for days after seeing this movie. Scary movies normally bore me, but it's the ones that mess with your mind that I don't like. The noise those alien things made really freaked me out.
